Re: Who is an educated Person?
by

on 09/09/2025, 07:36:23 UTC
To me, am educate person is someone who has gone through the walls of higher institutions, and have acquired a knowledge of certain profession for a period of 4- 5 years, and is able defend his profession.
However, to a common man, an educated person is someone who is able to read and write. An educated person is supposed to have an advantage in the society in terms of acquiring a job, but it isn't so because of the bad economy and how the so called leaders have corrupted the system.

While investing in bitcoin, don't invest expecting everything to just happen the way you want because you will always get heartbroken if you place your full hope on the investment made.
We know there is alot of risk involved in trading or investing, but we still need to take the risk in order to move to a greater height. Risk takers are future leaders, and those who refuse to take calculative risks today will regret not taking risk in future.

Re: Farming as an alternative can help reduce poverty and build your bitcoin portfol
by
Pressurizedem
on 03/09/2025, 21:29:40 UTC
It's is very essential to farm now because without farm produce most people will stay hungry and the rate of crime will increase.
During the corona virus, so many persons travelled to their villages for farming, and I can tell you that during that period, lots of people discovered their potentials, some persons whom I know that they don't like farming ventured into farming, because it was the only way to survive, but I can tell you now that till date, those people still do farm work because they have seen the benefits of farming.

Sure, there is a lot of benefit in farming but most people sees it as stress. There are some people that vow never to farm but they get to a certain point where they don't have any other options than to go into farming and after spending some years into this farming system then they realize how important it is to farm, that is why even when they bounce back to thier normal condition they still maintain the farming. I have seen rich people coming back from the city during farming season to farm. This are those who are already used to farming even before they decided to move to the city, this set of people there is nothing you can do to deprive them from going to the village to farm during farming season Because they know the importance.
Thank you, so we can say farming is done by people who really know the value of farm, and people who have had certain experiences about life that knows that it is very vital to atleast have a farm land where you can run to and harvest your farm produce when things look critical for you and your family, because if you can agree with me, not everytime is always a Christmas, there are some times when even getting food to eat will be hard, but if you have a farm, you can just run down there, get some farm produce, sell some, and keep some for yourself. That is the benefit of farming.

Re: A Reminder to my fellow Nigerians to Secure Your BitcoinTalk Account

It is very important to always make sure your Bitcointalk account is not tampered with. However, there are some persons in this forum who don't know the importance of the account they have untill they lose it. There is a saying that says you don't know the value of what you have untill you lose it.
Bitcointalk is the way forward, and anybody who knows this will not joke with his or her account whether it is in a campaign or not. Some persons sees the importance only when they are in a running campaign.
It isn't supposed to be so because your account is your identity, therefore, your identity should be protected at all cost.

All those manifestos and signed documents are strategies to win youths to vote for them. They believe if they go by what is trending, they will be able to get the mind of youths, but God won't let it happen.
If anyone had told me they would want to implement such, I wouldn't have believed, but nevertheless, I know their agenda, and it is only a trick they are using to make us believe in their governance. They won't get me, and I can't believe they would even keep to what they have said, and even if they keep to their promise, I won't even trust them.

The two difference between education before and education now is the employment and the unemployment rate.
In those days, if you graduate from school, there was every tendency that a job is already waiting for you immediately after graduation, you don't need to write plenty applications for you to be employed, infact, I heard job was giving with a car to drive.
But now, hardly will you see such happen, I don't know if it's because education is now very common and everyone is able to get it now, or it's because the country is getting worse everyday. I just know that things weren't like this in those days, atleast certificate was valued, the four or five years spent in school didn't always go in vein, but now it seems the reverse is the case, everything is just turning upside down, and with the way things are even going, it will only get worse if God did not intervene.

Nothing we no go see for Nigeria. In those days when I was born, it is a normal thing to celebrate during end of year or during when una wan move to the next class.
This generation wey we dey now just dey up side down. How primary children wan take enjoy their time in primary schools if there is nothing like graduation ceremony? How they wan take showcase their talents? To me, wetin those two governors do no make sense. I taught in a private school, so I no the joy wey children dey get when activities like this dey go on, and by right, is it not the responsibility of the parents to take good care of their children especially through education.
I still think it is good that children have these experience of graduation ceremony regardless.

Re: What if our entire life savings suddenly became worthless.
by
Pressurizedem
on 30/08/2025, 17:55:31 UTC
Actually saving is not enough if you have the ability. If someone has the ability to diversify into more different assets, then it is a good idea for him. Diversification can be done by proper financial management, as you said, land, gold, bitcoin, etc. We know that if you buy land, its value increases over time, that is, buying land later becomes a good asset

Saving can't make you rich but it can help you to have money when you're in need of it. Depending on your savings isn't right, you need to have investments that are making you profits and also need a paying job that you'll be using the salary you earn from that job to take care of yourself. Saving in banks are bad decisions, banks can't make you money but if you have millions of Naira then you can invest with the banks and not saving with them.

Banks have investment plans that you can be receiving returns on your money and the more money you have with them, the higher the return. This is a less risky investment plan but you'll need to have other jobs to assist you so you can compound your investments and make higher profits. The power of compounding can make you good returns and they're less risky than trusting new companies to buy their stocks.
You are very right mate, the fact that money saved is only useful for future purposes and when in need and not an assurance or a guarantee that you are saved financially is true. This is because investment as we know is the way forward, and if your money is just kept in a store and is not producing income as it is supposed to, your future is still at risk.
The investment you make today is what will guarantee whether your future will be good, better or worst.

Re: How can we promote sustainable living in our communities?
by

on 30/08/2025, 17:48:03 UTC
This is a very interesting topic OP. We can promote sustainable living in our communites when all hands are on deck. If we are to make the community worth living and enjoyable, then we must be ready to work in order to make the community a better place, and this work includes everybody, man and woman, children and adults, everybody must be involved in the working process and building of the communities.
This also means that the community leaders must not indulge in acts that would diviide the community and cause crisis in the community like taking of bribe from one party. Everybody must be sane and be ready to be law abiding so as to improve the community standard.

This topics seems funny, who no like better thing? E no get anybody wey no go wan take free money if e dey, Everybody know say Nija as a country no really dey give people joy because of the way things dey high, so when we see wetin dey free, na rush we go rusham.
These free gifts also include food and provisions cus it is the major concerns of the less privileged. If government  been fit get a way of providing free food for the orphans and the less privileged, Nigeria would have somehow been a better place to live.

Because politics is a dirty game, it is the reason why most persons stop giving their votes to politicians. They lure us into accepting them into political offices and end up using everybody to fulfill their dreams. Nigerian politics is indeed a mess because whether you vote or you do not, they have made us know that our votes no longer count, and it is the reason so many persons have decided to stay in their houses during election because the person they want to choose will definitely emerge regardless of people's votes or not.

Fraud is not good because it can lead people into prison and death if not careful, fraud is almost as the same as drugs and a cult. People that do fraud don't have good intentions with others that are above them financially. One big thing I don't like about them is that they are impatient but I won't say they are lazy. They are hard working and the are also smart but the most annoying part of it is that they channel all their smartness into doing the wrong things. Some of them fraudsters don't have a skill, thru fully depend on it and it ain't help them in the future.
You are very right my friend, but in as much as I won't indulge in fraudulent act, i still see a reason with people that indulge in it. Don't criticise me.
I said this because in Nigeria, we all know that suffering is the order of the day, poor people have no means of survival and even if we will say thay are lazy, we can still see that there is not enough job in the country to make everyone busy.
In addition, most of these people who indulge in Cyber crime are graduates, people who graduated from our prestigious universities, they now roame the streets looking for what to do, and remain stranded at the end of the day, so what would you have them do, they fall back on cyber crime to earn a living. This is just my opinion anyway, and it doesn't mean I am in support of crime.

The forum is already welcoming to newbies, and to people who are just coming, all they need to know again are the rules and the guildlines that guild the forum. they also have to make sure they contribute positively to the growth of the forum by making reasonable and sensible comments that are of quality.
We just have to make the forum full of fun and make good interactions so as to build good relationship with each other and carry everybody along as we are already doing.

Things have changed alot about Nigeria and the youths. Gone are those days when Nigerian youth knew nothing about bitcoin and online business, they dwelled on Apprenticeship and learning trades under people, but now, things have changed, the world is now digitalised and it got to Nigeria and we know our country that the moment they start doing something, they become very good at that thing to the extent that they will take charge of it and dominate nations.
Now, most of our youths know more about digital marketing, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, thereby making them abandon Apprenticeship and learning a trade under somebody.

This post is another post to motivate me because so many times I have relaxed in this my journey, whereas my friends who started this journey with me and  were consistent have gotten to a certain level, but I am still in membership rank. The topic is motivating me to be more active in this forum and thrive hard to rank up as soon as possible because being active is the main key to ranking up.
I have a task already this year to reach the next level, it is a task I have given myself, and I think I will do what ever it takes to get to the level I want. I'm trying to say consistency is the key in this forum.

As a beginner starting in this journey of bitcoin, you must know what to do and what not to do. You must read everything that you are supposed to read in this forum.
Bitcointalk is a place where we came to exchange ideas, interact, and know more about bitcoin. And as a beginner in this forum, you must get ready to observe and read everybody's post in this forum, knowing how trades are done and knowing the right time to invest and when not to invest.

Bitcointalk teaches us more about bitcoin and how to be successful in the market. But you must know that there are loses and gains in this journey, be bold and be ready to take risk because without risk, success can't be accomplished.

I no believam, I no go fit talk say na because old people dey rule us nai make things dey as e dey, na lie. Anybody can keep us in this situation, whether young or old, infact, I know for sure say anybody wey enter power go definitely do as others dey do because e don dey like tradition say our leaders must cheat us, they must embezzle funds and any other person who comes and doesn't do such things will be like a Godsent to rescue the people of Nigeria.
We just have to pray that God should make someone that has the fear of God to emerge as the leader of the country, then I think things will get better.
