However, Bitcoin is still strong. I do not think "great sale" will happen anytime soon. Hoping it will end fine for everyone.

you are right

Listen to podcast 34 between Saifedean Ammous and Michael Saylor, long term hodl means you can still make a profit by borrowing against your holdings

I can recommend listening to this talk between Saifedean Ammous and Michael Saylor

https://the-bitcoin-standard-podcast.castos.com/episodes/34-michael-saylor-on-the-fiat-standard

What is Microstrategy's plan? What is Grayscale doing? Never sell...

HODL for the long term

You can create a revenue with your holding by loaning against your crypto

As a long term hodler, I sold on the high of 2017 and I regret it. I wish I knew back then what I know these days....

I certainly don't feel like a "relevant party", but as screwed party. But we should be aware that he could have screwed us much harder. Roll Eyes

Maybe next time they can just sell off 100% of the altcoins and not any of the BTC ;-)

A9. From the outset of the bankruptcy proceedings, we informed all relevant parties that we were going to sell BTC and BCH at the appropriate time. We discussed this with the Tokyo District Court and decided when we should sell them. Some creditors were of the opinion that we should sell BTC and BCH soon. We believe that obtaining a lot of funds made it possible for us to take the “measures taken to ensure the benefits of the bankruptcy creditors”.

I wonder who all relevant parties are, is there a list?

As a creditor I don't remember being asked my opinion if it was appropriate to crash the market. Was it in my benefit as a bankruptcy creditor? No.

Who decided on how to sell these BTC and BCH, why not use an OTC transaction?

What's weird is that instead of him account username it appears anonymous... did he commit suicide after all?

Atlas was banned multiple times due to his extreme behaviour, he account was banned but then he kept popping up under new alter ego's. Fun times...

And no he did not commit suicide, read theymos's post

I am having the same issue, I have loaded my card with 120$USD and they havent given me the PIN to buy things in store, or get cash from the ATM.
I tried their support page, Skype, Telegram, Support Email. No Response what-so-ever.
I wouldn't want to call them a scam since they did work back in March, but ever since then it's just been a bad experience.
I think they are still in the process of integrating Paynetics into their system cause I'm noticing a lot of small changes in the members area.
Hopefully they get this stuff sorted out soon.

Wel at least you managed to get $120 onto your card, most of us did not get that far ;-)

I guess you must have activated your card (or you can't load it)?

I got an email from cards@paynetics.digital which looks like a weird domain so perhaps it ended up in your spamfolder? The email contained the text:

Dear Bla Bla

Your card's 53xxxxx******xxxx PIN number is xxxx.

Best regards,

Powercard21.

I can't fully understand, the only one card for all coins, or one card for bitcoins and others?

you only need 1 card. You charge the card by selling your coins, it does not matter if it's Bitcoins or altcoins. They sell your coins, get a % fee and deposit the EUR or USD on your cards balance, with some limits and rules.

Degraded Service, Upgrade Next Week

I've seen more announcements from Kraken in the past of "the problem will be solved in a few weeks" or "the new engine is coming 1st week of December"

Is this going to become a thing like the "two more months" from BFL?

We all remember how that ended...

Call me a skeptic...

Can you please check on the back of the card, who is the issuer? Other companies (Bitwala, Cryptopay, TenX) use WaveCrest, who don't permit issuing outside of the EU. So, I wonder who is the issuing company behind UQUID. Thanks.

They are now using Paynetics AD

Where did you get this knowledge from?

There have been various rumours of which addresses are (were?) under Friedcats control

Aren't these two the ones that moved just before the BCH airdrop?

It's nice to be able to think that in the next 10 years, the newcomers to this thread will view us too as elite.  Cool

10 years... only if you can hodl that long... how many from 2011 are still hodling? (and that is only 6 years)

If this is the real problem then I can't understand why also users from Europe are not able to use the card anymore, UQUID did block all card transaction no matter what country you're from. Did pay 30 EURO for two cards but could never use it, can I get a refund if the cards can't be used anymore in the short term.

I don't think it's Uquid that blocks it, I think it's Wavecrest who wants to renegotiate their deal with the front-ends to their cards

If the cards are not useable, I would expect Uquid to provide a free replacement once they have a new card issuer

Visa Europe, which owns Wave Crest Ltd.(aka MyChoice), is acquired by Visa International on August 22nd.
And the new boss of Wave Crest Ltd. decides to limit the card issuing business only to the residents of the European territory (see the list: https://mychoicecorporate.com/visa-card-issuance-list/)
Furthermore, the Bitcoin debit card companies work with MyChoice need to notify users who don't live in those countries that they need to spend all their balance in 30 days, after which the cards will be suspended. (In another word, you can 't use your card after 30 days)

It was shipped from CoinInvest GmbH in Frankfurt, as always. Do you know if AmsterdamGold uses the same partnership in their business plan?

CoinInvest and EPMD are the same company

AmsterdamGold does not use Coininvest and they ship only direct from their offices in Schiphold using Micropacket as a secure shipper

All my prior orders where handled swiftly until the last one, which was handled horribly but ended well anyway.

This is what I received from them:

Was it shipped from EPMD in Frankfurt?

I finally got a response from the owner of Bitgild, with a vague explanation about there being delays with my payment. My order is supposed to be shipped tomorrow, 28 days after it was placed. He had no explanation for why my other messages were ignored before this.

Anyway, I'm just happy something is finally happening - I was just about to take legal proceedings against them and open a scam accusation thread on this forum. I've never had any issues like this before and this was my seventh order from Bitgild.

Who replied? Wouter Vonck?
