There is no need to verify email to create an account and is there no 2FA facilities about which I opened a topic about it before. and changing email is also very easy and old email is not required to change email. and I saw the account recovery format where it says to sign a  message. so I think a wallet acts like oxygen to your account. If op get such messages, it is better to delete them. and report is required before deletion. However, since the account is brand new and has no activity, this account may not be banned due to the report. But op can stop receiving messages from Newbie to avoid such spamming. he/she can just follow the step bellow

PROFILE =>Personal Message Options => disable, Allow newbies to send you PMs =>change profile

That would be a good thing. Because most of the spamming is done through newbie accounts

This forum does not judge scammers. The only action that can be taken here is that if the scammer has a Bitcointalk account and there is clear evidence that he is really scamming then DT members can red tag that account as a scammer. But you only provided a twitter profile link of the person you complained against. There will be no effect here

- You don't post any TxID that can be considered a clear proof
- There is no evidence of the accused's wallet here
- There is no story mentioned here, how you fell victim to the scam.

You are getting your birthday wishes from Hughes.  I see this topic of yours since day one.  Up to 40 submissions I think there were real wishes and your greeting speed boosted as you gave merit to each one. And if there is such a system, merit sources would get bored while giving merit because merit sources distribute merit in huge amount, they don't have huge extra time to give merit like us to sending Smerit.

Merit is something that can never be deleted from a profile.  Posts can be deleted and post deletion reduces activity but merit can never be edited and this system is perfect for forums. so adding this editing system seems pointless to me
