Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online
by

My Leupay.eu account has just been banned a few days ago. My volume is about under 40K EUR for the past few months but all of the outgoing transaction destined to Bitstamp. Despite not mentioning it in the terms, I can say definitely that they're not bitcoin friendly. Luckily, I already transferred out when the hammer came so there's only about 2 EUR left on that account. The request for higher limit may have something to do with the ban and the support has not been answering since the ban came. Going to try Mistertango next.

Thats too sad mate. Sad
Closing your account without providing any explanation beforehand is really worrying.
Also, were you given the option to withdraw or they just confiscate the funds?
Please clarify, did they you asked to provide more documents to increase the limits and you didn't comply?

There were only 2 EUR left in the account as luckily I've just recently transferred to Bitstamp a few days before the closure. They asked for explanation of the funds and supporting documents, I provided transfer receipt from the bank and stated that it is for investment on Bitstamp. They sent the thread where they communicate with Satabank (their account provider) a few days after the closure  and a staff from there said

"Since the client confirmed that he is trading cryptocurrency, we need to terminate the account. Kindly request disposal instructions.

Thanks.
Kind regards,

I have created an account on LeuPay and verified it.
Just got my card few days ago. Till now everything works great. Let's see how the like transfers from exchanges.

Account ban incoming 3..2..1
Have you read their T&C?

What do you mean by this? I've transferred a lot to and from Bitstamp for the past couple of months and encountered no problem whatsoever. Haven't used it for other exchanges though so please share your experience.

There were some mentions in the past, that leupay blocked some accounts due to transfers from/to cryptocurrency exchanges.
According to them "this was against their policy" and thus a reason to terminate the accounts.
But i havent found any official claim in their TOS about cryptocurrencies.
Also many users been using leupay for a while without any problem, so i think you ll be fine.

I've only found one thread that had that sort of result : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1810594.0 . It seems that even if they closed the account, they have a good will to return the fund. I'm still on the basic 30K monthly limit but just recently asked for an increase. Let's see if this may result in account closure since if they checked the history, it is blatantly obvious that most fund goes to Bitstamp.

Any chance the sudden halt on withdrawal related to this? https://www.rt.com/business/414336-kiev-cryptocurrency-exchange-kidnapping/

It's RT.com so it's relatively reliable. Could be that the halt is to prevent him from forcefully transfer out fund, or could be that it's already too late.

Where are you based? I have used them to withdraw Indonesian Rupiah multiple times and it's always within a business day. Sometimes it's a few hours if I send it in the morning. Last I used them was on early December though.

Quoinex definitely has one of the most responsive and beautiful design of the trading UI. But the withdrawal problem has plagued it since I used the platform from late 2014. I wish they would just add extra staffs to handle crypto withdrawals. It's okay to be very secure and approve everything manually but take itBit or Bitfinex approach and actually process the withdrawals multiple times in the day. I hope they will improve the biggest flaw on their system permanently soon because with the great expansion news of their site lately, it's the only thing that kept most people from using the platform.

I don't know if you sped it up after you read my previous post but the deposit is finally processed after 100 hours. I lost about $60 because the arbitrage opportunity is lost and you still charge 3% deposit fee not to mention other income that I could've earned for the past 4 days. I will avoid this exchange until you fix your support system and corrected the balance for everyone. As of now, there is still plenty of advcash and moneypolo deposit still not credited for more than a week, way before the whole DDOS happen.

Thanks for not running with my fund anyway! Fix your stuff please.

Let me appeal to your logic once more, all the technical specialist need to do is :

- Login to Perfectmoney.is (30 seconds)
- Check the transaction (1 minute)
- Correct the balance (30 seconds)

It takes merely 2 minutes and assuming you only have one specialist and he only works 10 hours a day, he could've fixed 900 problems by now. Are there really more than 900 people affected by this?

Anyway, seeing how slow you fixed things I can't help but think of the worst and this is some sort of exit strategy. I hate to do this and please prove me wrong but I will post a scam report to Perfect Money if you still haven't fix it yet. At least if you were planning an exit, your Perfect Money account will be locked pending the investigation. I have faith in this platform so I will give you 12 hours to make things right.

Please do the right thing!

I got my Perfect Money deposit stuck for 18 hours when previously it was instant. Is this related to the ongoing server problem? Please help speed up the recovery as I'm losing a lot of potential profit. The ticket is 213214 but there is another previous inquiry that wasn't given a ticket. You can check the account associated with 213214 ticket.

Dear user,

You ticket was sent to the technical department. Notice that every ticket is reviewed in the order of arrival. You may experience some difficulties with working on the platform due to the DDoS attack that occurred yesterday. We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.

Your respectfully, EXMO team

Okay, can you check if I had a previous ticket sent by the live support (before 213214)? He said he sent it to technical department but there's no reply after almost 23 hours now. 213214 is the one I sent to the email a few hours after the live support.

Please notice that the inquiry to live chat is not given a ticket number. The inquiries sent to support@exmo.com are given ticket numbers.

Your respectfully, EXMO team

It's been 42 hours now and there's absolutely no word from anyone. You should have warned users about massive delay in deposit when your server gets DDOSed. It was supposed to be instant and now I have a significant amount of money stuck doing nothing while losing so much potential profit. Why is it so long anyway? All you need to do is login to Exmo PM account and match it with my transaction. It shouldn't have taken more than 5 minutes per transaction and if you were efficient you could have fixed a thousand balance problem by now. I doubt there's that many people affected by this delay. Please tell your technical team to work a bit faster, I don't want to end up waiting for a whole week when it was supposed to be INSTANT.

Dear user,

The matter is that our technical specialists review every ticket in order of arrival. We guarantee that your ticket will be obligatory reviewed. However, the response time may vary due to the significant overload of the technical department. We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Your respectfully, EXMO team

3 DAYS! And there's still no word on what causes it or any updates. I saw a guy on twitter who has his fund stuck for a week without any explanation. So the problem may already begun before the whole DDOS thing happens. Am I going to end up like him? This feels so terrible and I cannot do anything or move on before my fund is safely there. Please give me updates and fix it, it was supposed to be instant and yet here I am waiting for 3 DAYS.

I got my account disabled a few months back but luckily there were no fund. They re-enabled it after a few days from ticket submission but from what I read here, it may not be the case if I were to have a significant fund there.

Traded and withdrew 0.2BTC worth of fund couple of days ago without any delay but after I read all these nightmare stories about people getting their account disabled even when they are verified, definitely won't use them until they clarified everything and returned everyone's fund.

With Poloniex and HitBTC also seems to have significant withdrawal and account problem, I guess the only one that is good and have a high volume is Binance. Quoine/Qryptos and Bitfinex doesn't seems to have account locking problem but their withdrawal are manual and could take 12-24 hours to complete.

Is there any other altcoins exchange from what I mentioned that is still good?

Is there currently a delay IDR withdrawal once more? Last I tried was on May and it arrived within a day but I made another one and it's now almost two days now. Can you please confirm how long it would take if there's indeed a delay? I had fund stuck here for more than a week last year and it would be really nice to get a heads up so I can cancel.

Check ticket 32595 for the account detail.

You assume they haven't saved any of the profits they made so far. They have been running for what, 5 years? Sure the profits increase with time, but they should easilly have made 2-300M during that time. Sure they have costs and have surely taken nice salaries for themselves, but I don't think they would start from 0. My guess is they are using the coins / funds from the site to play the market around aug 1, they could probably make a huge chunk of the cash back that way.

I honestly hope that is true and they can see this as just a setback that might costs them 1.5 years. Although personally I'm hoping they will just stay to be that "rogue" exchange everyone knew, maybe becoming more regulated is the best and perhaps the only way to stay alive.

$110 million fine is pocket change to a $4 billion company. If BTC-e is going to steal all the money, it's not cause they need a few million dollars for a fine.

How is BTC-E a $4 Billion company? That figure counts the total transactions made on that site for a few years, not their total asset. As for covering $110 million, I took a quick count of their earning in fees. So, before they went offline, their daily volume was about $56 million on all currency pairs. Since there's no maker-taker system, it's safe to say that they earned about 0.4% (0.2 for two sides) for most of the transactions. That brings them about $224K in daily earning. Let's be nice and assume that this is their average day and without taking lower price or volume into account, it will take them 500 days to cover $110 million. This is while covering operational cost which definitely won't be cheap.

All in all, I don't think they will be able to continue unless they levied the cost on the users but even then it's still hard to function without profit for the next 1.5 years. The only way I can see it will go well if they either take a plea deal that reduces the fine to a more manageable amount or just ignore the whole ordeal and becomes more rogue than ever while still maintaining trust from bitcoin users in general.

Hi,

Did you receive the money after you get "processed" email today? Or are you still waiting for it to arrive to your bank account?

I got an email from them on Sunday morning ~11.30AM Australia time (so about 21 hours ago).
If you sent the LTC in the maintenance window before the email came out they should help you recover them.
The LTC should not of vanished. It is probably just a bit of work for them to restore the old wallets.

Did you send it before or after  the email came out ?

The problem with all these crypto's is even if the other end is down or nonexistent wallet anymore, we have no way of knowing that when we send the coins Sad

It is definitely before the news that they generated new addresses and disabled the old one. The exact time is around 9 AM GMT (about 39 hours ago or 8 hours before the news broke). However, it got unconfirmed for about 13 hours and by the time it got the first confirmation on the chain, the news were already there. I guess this is why they assumed I sent it after the news broke. The TX ID showed the time when it received the first confirmation and not the time it's initiated.

The only proof I got is the Cryptsy screenshot and I also posted the problem in Litecoin subreddit about 2 hours after I sent the transaction : http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/2b4k7m/why_is_my_transactions_remains_unconfirmed_after/

There is even a zerotx link that's still there : http://ltc.blockr.io/zerotx/info/2e969c4fc1ea76f3eba02a341845e3451cdb5e4ec6f5b31c16a0b336c9ca7344

I'm assuming that BTC-E problem and the extremely long confirmation was no coincidence since I never had this problem for the past 7 months.

Thanks for your support! I do hope that they still control the wallet and if it was only a few LTCs, I won't even be bugging them but this is really a lot and definitely worth the extra work they'll put in to restore the balance from there. Moreover, my LTC deposit transactions was already sent elsewhere as seen in my old address so I assume they already have control over it even though they no longer have control of the address.

Did you have LTC deposit problem too? Did they recover your fund already?
