Most casinos are not VPN friendly then if the gambler will have to be punished in some way or the other for using a VPN as regards to kyc or any other thing, the only casinos we can truly say are VPN friendly are the ones that clearly state in their terms and conditions that VPN is allowed on the casino, and if we are to start looking, it's but few number of casinos that have that included in their terms and conditions.
Reading FAQs and ToS is very first step to understand about terms on a platform including casinos and knowing about what are allowed, what are not allowed so that you will be knowledgeable enough about that platform for avoiding activities which are not accepted by their company.

VPN is allowed by casino, if you read it in FAQ or ToS, that is good but it's not enough.

You must find their list of restricted nations, areas and make sure you bookmark that list somewhere for use in future. When you turn on VPN, make sure you avoid those restricted nations because if you log in and use your account with IP addresses from restricted nations, their tools can terminate your account. You can claim it back but account termination is never comfortable experience.

Congratulations on your win, and turning your prize into a big win is truly impressive. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at poker. If I were, I would have joined when 1Win and Royse hosted this tournament.
Congratulations to Xplays who won this big and the 1win company as well as the manager who hosted this tournament for community and users successfully.

To win in poker tournament is not easy as it is like a game and battle among many players. The winner is like a most hard-core player in the tournament with knowledge, experience, discipline and most concentration during the tournament.

And choosing the right withdrawal method plays a crucial role, especially considering the speed of transactions most players desire. 1Win is designed to meet players' needs when it comes to transactions, allowing players to choose their preferred withdrawal method. And transactions using cryptocurrency are far superior, easy, and very fast.
Knowing about blockchains, block times, transaction speed, and transaction fee will help people to asess different blockchains in handling transactions together with deposit and withdrawal policies of platforms for sending and receiving. It's necessary to consider all those things before picking a blockchain and cryptocurrency for our withdrawal to have likely both cheap transaction fee, acceptable waiting time (if not fastest) as well as security.

Hey, what do you mean by bitcoin is sponsoring the forum?
Your bitcoin does not sponsor the forum if you did not donate bitcoins to this forum for a VIP or donator membership or did not use bitcoin for purchasing a Copper membership.

It's a Bitcoin forum and there were many Bitcoiners who were forum members and donators for VIP / donator badges. Their bitcoins sponsor the forum many years in the past and until now, also move towards future.

List of donators in bitcoins.

Take it as the forum url implies bitcointalk.org. Nothing much.
It's the Bitcoin forum, Bitcoin talk forum, the name says it all.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he signed for Chelsea, let’s face it, they’re always in the running to sign everybody Cheesy
I am not surprised if that transfer between Newcastle United, Isak and Chelsea happens, but I wonder whether Chelsea actually need Isak after signing with Joao Pedro in the summer?

They can have him if they want, but I dont like how they are spending money for players.
I think last season they had one of the biggest rosters with most players in Premier League and they spend a lot if money.
OK, they won FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Conference League and, but I was not impressed with them in Premier League.

New prediction transfer is for Alexander Isak and Liverpool is the option with lowest odds:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/player-transfers/international/soccer-transfers/alexander-isak-club-on-03-09-2025-00107c57b400000000000000
Alexander Isak only scored many goals for Newcastle United last season and he has never come nearly to the expectation as a next Ibrahimovic. One magnificient season is not enough to convince me that Isak already changed and upgraded himself to a higher quality level but I remember that before joining Liverpool, Mohamed Salad was not too goal productive like what he shown after that transfer and chance of playing for Liverpool.

Isak can repeat that success of Mohamed Salah and upgrade himself more in Liverpool or fail to repeat it. In my opinion, it is a risky transfer for Liverpool if the transfer cost is too high.

This casino is stealing money.
This casino is ignoring me in chat https://www.talkimg.com/images/2025/07/21/UA1Iz5.jpeg
Here on the forum a representative of chips.gg told me that I made arbitrage bets.
I sent the entire history of my bets. And compared the odds with other bookmakers. The odds are no different.
If you are considered to be an honest casino, I want you to present evidence of my violations. And not run away from problems.
Now you are behaving extremely unprofessionally.
From the screenshot of chat history, the customer support staff did not keep up conversation with you, and I agree that this staff needs to do his job better.

About another thing you shared in the post, like you sent them entirely history of your bets, no proof you shown to us. I understand that it is private information and surely you can keep it for yourself and I have no rights, as well as no interest to see your bet history. Another thing is the casino actually has your bet history, and you don't need to sent it to them.

Arbitrage bet is a severe violation of ToS on casinos and if you actually did it, your chance is zero to appeal for anything.

I was checking the profile. It did not post yet and last active session was July 20. There is high chance that someone entered their dirty hand and got the access. High profiles like this account should go through proper security check to verify the original users authenticity.
I think the forum adminstrators already took a look at it. Even they did not at beginning, after this topic was created for a while, perhaps they already did extra check on this account and its recovery process weeks ago.

Quote
It will be hard though if the legend destroyed the private key of the addresses he used.
Satoshi Nakamoto warned that Bitcoin users should never delete wallets they used and I think laszlo knew this reminder too.

If he has no intention to keep his past wallets, he can delete them or he just lose them somehow and I don't think it is too serious. If those past wallets are empty, he can lose them somehow or delete them by himself even there is chance of someone will continue to donate him bitcoins.
Sigh... why delete a wallet instead of moving it aside and keeping the old copy just in case?  You should never delete a wallet.

He made very big mistake but there is no information like is it a wallet that stores all of his fund. If it is like this, it is truly nightmare for him.

He and any other people knew about this accident, will need to learn from this and reconsider how to back up their wallets more safely and more privately. This is a good guide on how to do that.

How to back up a wallet seed phrase ? (Jameson Lopp).

Very important rules:
Don't store all fund in one wallet as it is like store all eggs in one basket.
Don't bring that big wallet around everywhere as you can have problems and lose it as well as all your fund.
Don't try to split your wallet seed phrase.

It really depends on the gambler. You can wager high volume on in-house games like Dice, Limbo, and some other games. I mostly played Limbo to wager over 2K so far. It is pretty easy to wager on low payouts if you want. But if you keep placing bets on low payouts, you will eventually drain your balance. The only thing you will get is a wager. But I think in-house games are tempting.

I often get triggered and place max bets. Unfortunately, luck does not always go with you. If I place higher bets, I usually lose the bet. Then I continue to place big bets to recover the previous bet loss and that's how I end up getting busted.
To join wager contest, people need to have many things, not only money. Like knowledge about wager contest, risk of losing money, chance and how to win a wager contest, and how to control their bets in order to secure their inital fund and manage to finish the contest with top ranks in leaderboard.

It's not an easy task for any participants and bets are always addictive and have potentiality of emotion emerge so that the more times you bet, the higher probability that you will bet emotionally. It will be start of some bad bet decisions that are enough to drain out your initial gambling fund. Your experience is classic like what the others experienced too but it must be known by newbies in gambling and your advice means a lot to them.

Re: Bitcoin mining using an Android phone

on 23/07/2025, 01:55:57 UTC
I'm still have a little knowledge about Bitcoin. But I’ve been curious about Bitcoin mining, is it really possible to mine Bitcoin using an Android phone?
I have seen a several apps claiming to do this, but I am not sure how legit or profitable they are. I really appreciate any honest insights or advice from you guys. Thanks in advance.
Bitcoin mining industry has gone through long history with many developments and changes from CPU, GPU, FPGA and AISC mining. Nowadays, times for CPU mining and GPU mining no longer exist so it's unrealistic to mine Bitcoin with Android phone.

Bitcoin mining history.

If you see offers from mining applications on Android phones or any mobile devices, you must pay attention and assess whether it is like Ponzi offers. Also stay away from Cloud mining offers that are certainly scam.

Re: What do you do with a good trading strategy?
by
hd49728
on 23/07/2025, 01:45:08 UTC
If a trading strategy brings you a good profit, then you should continue to use it.But you should understand that this will not last forever, and you should test new trading strategies in advance, and AI can help you with this.
I totally agree with you. Any trading strategy has failure times and even it is a very good trading strategy not only in theory or in words of mouth but in your own practice, you must be aware of this fact and also prepare for danger and risk of losing money with the strategy whenever it fails. It's not because of the trading strategy but by the market in most volatile and decisive times. Around such times, it's best if you see the risk, close your trading position to defend your trading capital as your most important task. Later when the storm gone, market decides a next direction, you can open a new trading position with that trading strategy and very likely it will work well for you.

Having 2-3 trading strategies to switch between is better than focusing on just one.
I tend to agree that it's wise to continue using a strategy while it's successful, but once it starts to fail, it's time to switch to another.
Once my trading strategy begins to falter, I will not continue using it because, for me, it simply won't work, even if I apply various improvements.
It depends on how many times you failed with that trading strategy and when. If you failed with it in squeeze time like I said above, it's likely not because of the strategy, but it's by your wrong decision to stay in the market in most dangerous times.

Good or bad trading strategy, always remember to use one of best weapons in trading.

Exactly my thoughts. It could be that the community has blown the opportunity to see him write here again. The pressure could be much for him to handle Grin
Do you think that you and community can create any pressure on laszlo?

I believe we can not do it. laszlo can come back and disappear again without making any post, nobody in the forum can make any pressure enough to force him posting anything. Depends on his reason of the return, he will make posts or not.

Like in many years, he has been still alive and but has not answered any more questions in real life and if he can do it in real life, he can do similarly in the forum.

If he actually returns, it's good for the forum and Bitcoin community as at least we know that one of Bitcoin legends is still here with us.

Well, unfortunately, it is not possible to delete your account on this forum.
OP needs to know some extra things:

Accounts can not be deleted (no longer be deleted).
Trust feedbacks can not be deleted by forum moderators. It's only from user side and forum's admins or moderators can not delete any trust feedbacks. The trust feedback system in the forum is decentralized and can not be censored by admins, moderators.

Re: Bitcoin does not discriminate
by

Many of you may not give an F about this but it is important to me due to what I faced just for buying a domain from Africa.

I tried for weeks to get a card to buy a domain, but it was all rejected. I am sure that if the card was owned by a US or EU citizen, the transaction will be processed itch-free. This makes me abandon the hosting site I wanted to use and searched for the ones that accept Bitcoin.Immediately I sent the payment, it was successful. Thanks to Bitcoin that doesn't discriminate whether you are from Asia, Africa, Europe or US.

Bitcoin recognizes everyone as equally important, as the same.
Bitcoin does not recognizes anyone and it's a blockchain that moves onwards with works from Bitcoin miners in finding new Bitcoin blocks, confirming new Bitcoin transactions, and Bitcoin full nodes relaying block information to other nodes as well as storing Bitcoin blockchain data decentralized.

If you have bitcoin, a good Bitcoin wallet software, run your Bitcoin full node, you can broadcast your Bitcoin transaction proactively and the remaining thing is only wait for confirmations by Bitcoin miners. Make sure you understand about Bitcoin mempools, fee rate and transaction fees as well as how Bitcoin miners prioritize transactions in tip of mempools for confirmation.

Bitcoin is borderless and everyone can use it with this non-censorship blockchain.

Re: How Do I get Started with Investing in Crypto or Other Alternative Assets.

I recommend starting with account management support to help you in smooth transition into the world of cryptocurrency.
It’s a smart way to learn while earning, especially if you’re new.

You will gain valuable experience and develop the awareness needed to safely navigate the space and avoid online scams.
Experts are experts in theory and their lectures while in practice, most of experts don't perform well.

It is easy to know that if you invest money in Bitcoin, and hold your bitcoin for a long time, you will get very good profit from Bitcoin investment portfolio. It's theory and everyone knows it, but practically most people fail to become actual long-term investors and they get loss from investment while they should have very good profit.

To succeed, they need to prepare from knowledge of Bitcoin and the market cycle, proper practice in buying, accumulating and storing bitcoin, as well as good management on risk, finance, investment and together if they can do those things well, they will get profit. Otherwise, they will have loss, even very big loss or entire lose of your initial capital.

This issues keep happening around that's why gamblers need to be aware that having multiple account is been discourage or not allowed to do.

There are lots of abuse involving multi account usage that's why the casino do some counter action to fight this. That's why people need to be aware on this so that they won't get compromised. Most of the casinos right now are so strict towards this that's why we see lots of people got compromise when they caught up having a multiple accounts.

If it happens that they have old account but can't remember the password the best solution with this is to contact their support since for sure they would help them to solve this issue and get clearance to gamble without getting any further issues.
They will talk about a reason of don't know about that rule against multi-accounting on a gambling site. This is a most common reason used by people with multi accounting activities for making their ToS violation like naive and unintentional. I agree that there are people don't know about that rule but they are newbies and not too many gamblers like that. Most gamblers are experienced and they know what they are doing is ToS violation but they believe that they are experienced enough to outsmart and break ToS of a business without consequence.

When their activities are detected and their accounts get consequences, they complain and try to make them like naive users with lack of understanding on ToS and multi-accounting rule.

I think that there is no statistics that shows winning results for the bookmakers because it's an inside information for every bookmaker and bookmaker service provider. But I can tell you this, bookmakers always build in a margin to ensure long-term profit. When there is a fight between two person, the total odd should logically be 4.0 (2.0 for each) but bookmakers make it to look like 1.96 for each (3.92 totally), which means that 0.08 is in their favor. In other words, for example, 8% profit margin means that for every $100, they keep $8. This is how they remain profitable even when individual bettors win bets but you also have to keep in mind that bookmakers constantly change odds to keep things in their favor to minimize risks and increase chance of gaining a profit.
We don't need bookmakers to share their internal stats publicly to know that their businesses get profit for maintaining their operations a long time. If they have very low margin of business profit or only get net loss, their businesses would have been death and their services would have been closed already.

So it is clear fact that casinos need to get profit that partially comes from their users who are gamblers and have degend instinct. That's it, gamblers are greedy, want to bet and they nurture gambling companies with their money inflow in bets that brings part of gambling company income. However it is not responsibility of any casino on how their customers bet with their own gambling funds.

Gamblers must manage their risk and finance well includig gambling capital management and how they bet responsibly or irresponsibly.

Your account is still newbie so it's okay to forget this account and do what you want. Just  forget it and don't think it anymore.  Anyways you can ask the admin to change your username or password then forget it. But I don't think if admin will do that since your account is not a high profile and also the rank is still newbie. But you can give a try if you want.
If the reason is something relates to privacy, it's severe concern and OP can send a request to theymos for possible consideration and help.
If the reason is not related to privacy, but something unimportant, OP can abandon this account and leave the forum or create a new account with a username he likes.

OP can change the account email to an address with forum domain, and abandon the account. Avoid using a random email address @gmail and similarly as someone in future can register an email address like that and has access to this account.

If you don't want to set an email address, use something like yourUserName@invalid.bitcointalk.org; don't use a random nonsense email like y@x.com, since somebody might create that domain/email.

If you don't completely agree, no probs... But can you pick out a specific fully trusted casino that hasn't received any form of scam accusation? That they are fully trusted doesn't make them immune to these accusations. The thing is, even the best of online casinos faces some of these accusations, it's probably after some investigations and evidence are laid that's when we get to know if they are guilty or the accuser is just making some false claims.
It is true for all business that has a long time of operation and is big enough, there should be always scam accusations against that business. Scam accusations don't automatically make that business worse in reputation because scam accusations must be assessed with information and evidence from both sides. They can be invalid and you know, most scam accusations are invalid.

How high is the probability of accusations vs. casinos in BitcoinTalk are true?

Re: Important questions for anyone using a crypto exchanges
by

on 18/07/2025, 05:01:01 UTC
A lot of cryptocurrency exchanges these days ask users to go through KYC checks, mostly to follow the law and keep things secure.
They do this because their business (exchanges) must obey the existing laws and KYC requirements from governments, I agree. I disagree with you that they are doing this because KYC keeps things secure. It is not, exchange security has nothing related to KYC policy.

We know.
Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless.

KYC-exchanges don't make compensations to users if their exchanges were hacked and they wanted scam exits or no longer had enough finance for this compensation action.

The exchange graveyard can make many people fearful about CEX. Exchanges rested in peace but users who lost money could not rest in peace!
Exchange graveyard.
