I have already written a post where the cards to ~2450 H/s create, but was not paid attention to the power consumption!
I've been trying to achieve maximum performance here.

Here are the settings:

Topic SRB high performance: (without thinking about power consumption)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AiuqbS6gbPW6IsT7p8QmgB6GrfIphHzB/view?usp=sharing

OverdrivnTool-Values:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ydngQu040cwMsyW8gdJVLLJI52gH8fIj/view?usp=sharing

You can still try between: 1680Mhz/1000 or 1690Mhz/1000.

I am at your disposal for questions.

Hi Patrick,

Coul you share the PowerTable-RegFile for this config please ?

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1E0W1XSJ0ktY61I35wBWLL1KO6FqZ6PdW

If you get a "Error CL_MEM_OBJECT_ALLOCATION_FAILURE" try increase virtual memory in windows.
Go with number of GPU's * 8gb + 8 , for example 6gpu * 8gb + 8 = 56gb virtual memory.

I have try to increase virtual memory in Windows as you say.
But nothing change, the error is always here..

What can I do now ? What do you need ?

Hello @doktor83,

Something new about this problem ?

Thanks !

Hi KolordZ!  Cool

Here you have the link to RegFile for the ~ 2450 H / s settings.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gtrEwS8fEDJyUUvDncKRTsjqv6hTyoxN/view?usp=sharing

You just have to change the settings for P7 and P3 to the values of my link.
1690Mhz / 1000mV and 1100Mhz / 923mV

About VirtualMemory:
I've set 100,000 - 100,000 on my rig. With 12 graphics cards. I had previously 70,000 - 70,000, but this attitude was very close and could not open programs at full capacity.

So I would recommend healthy to set 10,000 memory / card.

Hope I could maybe help you.

Best regards
Patrick

Hi Guys! Cool

So now I have tried something again, I have taken over the PowerTableSettings of LIVADA, so it definitely reduces the power consumption significantly. I changed it a bit, too.

I will definitely continue to work with SRB Miner and will continue to test the setup with my Vega64 rig.

Here are my values and settings:

SRB Miner 1.9.3.
Windows 10 (1803)
Adrenaline Driver 18.6.1
ASUS B250 Mining Expert
8x Vega64 - WATER cooled // 4x Vega64 FE
2x ENERMAX - Platimax 1700watts

For algorithm: MONERO/XMR - V4R

The achieved values are currently between: 2300 - 2350 H/s per card @tweak-profile "10"

Total power consumption at: ~ 2410 watts (/ 12 = 200.83 watts per card)
The system runs completely stable, the FE graphics card crashed at 1450Mhz / 866mV - with TWEAK profile "10"
So I reduced my FE cards to 1408Mhz / 866mV and is now stable.
The water-cooled cards are stable at 1450Mhz / 866mV

Is it maybe possible to post your POWERTABLE values in here, or send it on a downloadlink for RegistryFile? I would be very nice and kind!  Grin Roll Eyes

Dont want to use TEAMREDMINER he has 2,5% DevFee lol.. SRB-Miner has 0,85%. BUT thanks anyway!

Why does TeamRedMiner use less power?
Is there plans for newer versions of SRB to lower power use?

The reason for this is the CLOCK (PowerTable) settings. They are really good, I have to try!

THANK YOU!  Grin Roll Eyes

AMDTWEAKING and OverdrivnTool 0.2.8 are NOT running for 18.6.1, so can´t use SRB-Miner with it, NEED the RegistryFile for
the 800-866mV.

TEAMREDMINER has 2,5% DevFee, sorry but that´s really a hard joke.  Lips sealed

Patrick,

Thanks for your reply.

When I use tweaking profil 10 I've some Invalid job appears.. I don't know why. I have Sapphire RX Vegas 64 Nitro+ and when I look Doktor and you on tweak profil 10 you don't have invalid shares... Why i'm getting this ? (In 1h I've got 3/55 invalid)

Something wrong with my config ?

Another question, in that case where you don't have to pay electricy what kind of config can we use with our cards to get the best and stable performance ?

Thanks!

Hi Mate!

So because of the invalid shares:

It can happen, but mostly the servers or the pools are the reason. Just have a look at the "Stats". It could also be that the pool is in another region, YOU might have looked? Maybe the wrong port?

It could be the internet connection which might be too slow, it could just be the wrong server or wrong region from the pool as described above.

Your attitudes I believe are the same as mine.

These are my "Start Settings":

setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_MAX_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_MAX_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
@echo off
cd% ~ dp0

SRBMiner-CN.exe --config config \ config-normalv4.txt --pools pools.txt

AND

{ "id" : 0, "intensity" : 124, "worksize" : 16, "threads" : 2, "tweak_profile" : 10},

do you have others?

Hi,

Need some guidance. I have Rigs with RX580 - bios moded.
I was mining Cryptonight algo - Tube for quite some time. My rigs were with Blockchain AMD drivers and SRBMiner 1.7.3 - I have very small problems with rigs, from some time the miner software crashes but is something like once in a 2-3 days. I just restart the miner software and continue to mine for another 2-3 days. When it crashes my rig is  ~140 W till i restart it. SRBRestarter does not work for some reason probably because see that the process is ON /crashed but is not absent /

I decided to upgrade the miner with the last version first without changing the drivers. And all the problems started every night at about the same time all rigs stop sending to the pool but they continue to draw full power from the wall .
I tried to set --minrigspeed but the miner works at full power just not submitting to the pool  so the string does not work for me /pool is https://bittube.miner.rocks/

Then I changed the drivers with 18.5.1 but without luck - the problem stays. It works for most of the day but then stops submitting to the pool and continues to draw full power from the wall /and not 140w like with 1.7.3/

Current setup is
SRB Miner 1.9.3
Afterburner 4.5.0
AMD Driver 18.5.1

Screenshot https://pasteboard.co/IrsHrzW.png

Also have similar problem. Use to be 24/7 stable ~0.1% HW errors.
Been mining TUBE on and off so I can't figure out exactly when the problem started but I think after SRBMiner v1.8.8.
Happens after 1-3 days of mining, then all of a sudden starts spitting out 100% HW errors, continues retrieving jobs from pool but doesn't restart.

Current setup:
5x Vega 56s (no bios mod)
AMD drivers 18.6.1
SRB Miner v1.9.3 (Run through AwesomeMiner + Remote Agent if that makes a difference, although never used to be a problem)
Parameters: --ccryptonighttype bittubev2 --cgpuid 0,1,2,3,4 --cgpuintensity 56,56,56,56,56 --cgpuworksize 8,8,8,8,8 --cgputhreads 2,2,2,2,2 --cgpufragments 1,1,1,1,1 --cgputweakprofile 5L,10L,10L,2,9L --cgpuheavymode 2,2,2,1,2 --resetvega --enablegpurampup --nobinaries --preparedata

Still trying to figure it out with low clocks ~900mhz atm but still same problem.
--nobinaries doesn't help.
 Huh

Hiho Guys!
I have read your reports, so
1.HW Error's: comes from my experience, directly from the chips, by overheating or if the ventilation ducts are dirty with dust.
I would also try to reduce some of the performance and to test if it might be because of it.
It's just a constant game. HAHA
2.Crashes after 2-3 days: Unfortunately, I have no direct answer or experience, I would only have tips:
Is the MiningRig connected alone or on its own power distributor? Are there any other devices in the circuit? The European standard current distributors usually only have a power distribution of 3680watt. Have any parts been changed or rebuilt lately?
Would also recommend to see if the graphics cards are clean and dust-free.
Maybe a Windows setting? Such as standby of the hard disk, maybe turned on? Screen saver activated? Sometimes these things make problems.

Unfortunately, I also have the experience that PSUs after a long time, the performance can no longer hold.

I can only give the tip to unscrew the card case and clean carefully with the vacuum cleaner or a brush and once every 2 months at 24H continuous operation.

If you / you already do this, then the chips are already very stressed, can also happen from overclocking or if it is just too hot in the room´s and the chips reach 60-75 degrees possible.

And please pay attention:
The RECOMMENDED versions currently are:
ADRENALINE 18.6.1
SRB 1.9.3
Latest WINDOWS 10 (1803)
(I would also recommend keeping BIOS up-to-date)

All other versions are a matter of luck, I would not recommend!

I hope i could help you, check this out.

Best regards
Patrick

Hi Guys!
I've been working on the constellation MiningRig Vega64 for the past 2 years - water cooled and fe cooled mix.

With the following settings and setup:

SRB Miner 1.9.3.
Windows 10 (1803)
Adrenaline Driver 18.6.1
ASUS B250 Mining Expert
8x Vega64 - WATER cooled // 4x Vega64 FE

Today I spent the whole day testing my rig again and again and again, and was able to reach the following values:

Highest daily value: 2346 H/s
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uYAECE4AHwyW87EuXRnN7DFuBFH4PWBO/view?usp=sharing

Settings CONFIG:
{"id": 0, "intensity": 124, "worksize": 16, "threads": 2, "tweak_profile": 10},
{"id": 1, "intensity": 124, "worksize": 16, "threads": 2, "tweak_profile": 10},

POWERTABLE settings:

Download LINK:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UDGf8JcuKY4mFrSiFdrcWeYd24Gh2rtT/view?usp=sharing

(IMPORTANT: Then adjust the values in the OverdrivnTool for P7 and P3 to: 1435Mhz // 966mV and 1100Mhz // 923mV

I have now searched for a strong and stable attitude and personally changed something. I have also tried to reduce power consumption a little, but it comes with P7 (mV) from 950 crash of the system. So 966mV I think is the safest and option, with P3 (mV) 923 is very close, as I have a lot of experience with P3 (MhZ) of 1100, where they have set in the old PowerTables between 905mv and 915mv, that often crashed the system.
Maybe those are not the best values, but I'm pretty happy. Wink I am always happy to work on it and reach new heights in mining with my Vega`s.  Roll Eyes

I worked for a long time with the TABLE // P7 - 1408/915 and P3 - 1100/905, but unfortunately I had to realize that these are no longer stable or I could not find a stable version and I tried a lot.

I hope I could possibly help, you can always send me a message.

Best regards
Patrick

Hi Patrick !

That's what I've with my config :

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NeA_xZSNHb0ztyQ05SygDjfXp3DezStL

So I don't understand why are you using this config if you have less H/s than me ?

When I try your config I have less too.

Hi Mate!
Thx for your reply!

I know well that it is possible to clock the bars even higher, but of course it costs more electricity! Wink

I'm from Austria, where the price per kilowatt is about 0.21 € (cent). So not very cheap, of course I could too
my graphics cards to 1750Mhz clock (WaterCooled), but the cards should work longer, haha  Grin
I personally think of it as "middlething" .. I said yes there are higher values possible, but not every person has low electricity prices. Wink

Of course I will continue to try other options and continue testing.
I am currently working with 2x ENERMAX PLATIMAX 1700Watt power supplies and have found that the power consumption with higher version of the SRB-Miner has continued to increase.

I can still remember that earlier versions were about ~ 180 watts / Vega64 card, now we are now at ~ 210 - 230 watts per / card;)
Of course, there were also allgorythm changes, which increased the power consumption in any case.

I've seen your values that you've tested 3 graphics cards, I have 12 pieces, that's of course another big piece. Where you just have to take care of a lot more so that the system does not break or collapse  Roll Eyes

My personal aim is to get high performance, but to consume less power.

So step by step.

anyway THANK YOU!

Greetings Patrick

Recommended drivers:
Adrenalin 18.6.1

Hello doctor!

First of all, I would like to express a big thank you for your effort and work on SRB Miner!
It's going really well, I've been working for a long time with SRB Miner and my Vega64 graphics cards, currently 12 pieces in number.

My question currently is, still working or is recommended at most the ADRENALIN driver 18.6.1 to use.

What about the newer drivers? Do these work? Or do you continue to work only on 18.6.1? Should we try it for ourselves?

The 2nd thing:

What bothers me a bit or is upset that with SRB 1.7.0 the power consumption of Vega64 cards was about ~ 185 watts per card!

With SRB 1.7.5. The consumption per card increased approximately to 203 watts / card. Could you perhaps also consider this or perhaps mention it in the information?

Because it brings nothing if graphics cards make 10-30 H / s more, but the power consumption increases every time!
This is not an optimization!

Personally, I am very surprised that nobody here talks about electricity consumption or reports or writes about it, because it´s a big thing for everyones MONEY!.

Here are the current values of my RIG with Vega64 to version 1.7.5 on V8(GRAFTCOIN) .:

Hi Dok, is there any way to find out which GPU (I have mix 56's & 64's with different memories) crashed the system? I've tried searching log but can't really tell. TIA

Hi Mate!

It´s easy to find out which Card is "damaged", just go to device Manager and just activate 1 GPU Card 1 by 1 and run the miner with just 1 ID, then let run the miner.

maybe it helps.  Roll Eyes

Hello guys, I have a problem with my miner.
It works all vegas 64 lc individually or in groups with intensity 124 but only 8 cards (of 11 Vegas) at the same time. It was checked by the hardware the cards and the riser. if I start the miner with more than 8 he pulls the rope and the system restarts. What settings do I have to make in win 10 (version 1709)?
vram 250gb
optimizer 4.5
disabled crossfire and enabler ulps
computing mode
and Huh??

win 10 pro
asus b250
24 gb ram
11 vega 64 lc
srb miner 171
adrenalin 18.6.1
Hbcc deaktiviert

config
"cryptonight_type" : "normalv8",
"intensity" : 124,
"double_threads" : true

installed after "lupaarsen" thread 5359

Please help me?

Hallo Hansibua!

Patrick

Thanks Patrick!
Another question - srbminer shows a total hashrate of 4300Hs, and bittube.miner.rocks shows an average of 3000Hs per day.
pool latency ~ 130ms
stale shares are very rare, maybe about 1%
The difference of Hs in the miner and on the pool is about 30%
What could be the reason for such losses?

Hi Mate!

This is a very clear thing, mining pools are NEVER exactly, so you can never trust it, trust only the MiningTool, the display in the pools is very inaccurate, in addition it often happens with the pools once more hashrates and once less hashrates is used, so you often have more hash rate by the pool than you actually manage with your graphics cards or even less.

Unfortunately, I do not know if MiningPools only make inaccurate ads or if the pools always need more power and once less for the calculations.
So that's normal.

Hi!
{
"cryptonight_type" : "bittubev2",
"intensity" : 55,
"double_threads" : true
}
Win 10, RX 588, Adrenalin 18.11.1
Update to srbminer 1-7-1 from srbminer 1-6-4.
Now miner closed with error "EXCEPTION 90012. FAULTY HDMI DEVICE INT3H."

Whats wrong?
How to solve this?..

Thanks.

Hi Mate!

The problem is !You have upgraded your Adrenalin Drivers too high!

Recommended drivers:
Adrenalin 18.5.1, Adrenalin 18.5.2, Adrenalin 18.6.1

DON'T COMPILE kernels on drivers 18.7.1+ because they will create faulty binaries!
If the pre-built binary kernels aren't working you, make sure you use one of the upper mentioned driver versions!
Don't use 18.3.4 and older drivers if you want to mine V8 with Vegas! Your hashrate will be very bad. Instead use minimum 18.5.1 and newer drivers!
If miner can't connect to devfee pool or srbminer.com, switch your dns to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8

The highest driver can be Adrenalin 18.6.1.
so uninstall your drivers with DDU tool (DriverUninstaller) and install it, it should work then!

I hope i could help you!  Roll Eyes Wink

Patrick, how are you getting your temperatures so low? I get the water cooled ones … but you have a mix there, yeah?  I can usually keep my Vega Cards in the high 50s low 60s using Overdrive settings /w Core at 880MV Mem 900MV but that's about it so I am curious what others are doing to get those temps down.

Hi buddy!

Sorry I'm only now answering, I've been busy the last few days!  Undecided

To your question: I regularly clean the fan of my graphics cards, as it is often dust in it and thereby increases the temperatures!

Cleaned fans can already make a difference of 5-10 degrees.

I have water cooled and air cooled cards yes.
But it also makes a difference how far the graphics cards are from each other!
My Mining Rig is on the ground where the temperatures are a bit lower, but draw the air directly from the window into the cards, which means the cards are cooled by 5-10 degrees. Wink

At about 20 degrees room temperature, the water-cooled cards at 2500-3000 rpm should have about 40/45 degrees at full load, on Air-cooled cards at 4000-5000 rpm about 45-55 degrees on full load.

I hope I could help you!

greetings
Patrick

Oh comon Sad

I got x3 RX Vegas 64 Nitro+ and when I try 1.7.1 I got 200H/s less than 1.7.0..

Could you please share you config ??

My config in 1.7.0 :

{
"cryptonight_type" : "normalv8",
"intensity" : 124,
"double_threads" : true
}

GPU0: Radeon RX Vega [gfx900] [8176 MB][I: 124.0][W: 16][T: 2][F: 4][A: 0][BUS: 9]
GPU1: Radeon RX Vega [gfx900] [8176 MB][I: 124.0][W: 16][T: 2][F: 4][A: 0][BUS: 13]
GPU2: Radeon RX Vega [gfx900] [8176 MB][I: 124.0][W: 16][T: 2][F: 4][A: 0][BUS: 3]

Hi Mate, for sure! Here is my config for V8:

{
"cryptonight_type" : "normalv8",
"intensity" : 0,
"double_threads" : true,
"gpu_conf" :
[
   { "id" : 0, "intensity" : 124, "worksize" : 16, "threads" : 2},
   { "id" : 1, "intensity" : 124, "worksize" : 16, "threads" : 2},
   { "id" : 2, "intensity" : 124, "worksize" : 16, "threads" : 2},

}

p.s. try to update the SRB-Miner to version 1.7.1.

Here is a table where you can see the exact information.

Patrick,

I can't send you MP..

I just tried your config and .... I don't understand !

My config in SRB Miner 1.7.1 :

{
"cryptonight_type" : "normalv8",
"intensity" : 124,
"double_threads" : true
{

I got 6050 H/s with 3x Sapphire RX Vegas 64 Nitro+

Your config to my rig in SRB Miner 1.7.1 :

{
"cryptonight_type" : "normalv8",
"intensity" : 0,
"double_threads" : true,
"gpu_conf" :
[
   { "id" : 0, "intensity" : 124, "worksize" : 16, "threads" : 2},
   { "id" : 1, "intensity" : 124, "worksize" : 16, "threads" : 2},
   { "id" : 2, "intensity" : 124, "worksize" : 16, "threads" : 2},
]
}

I got 6250 H/s with 3x Sapphire RX Vegas 64 Nitro+

What's happend ?
What is the difference between your config and mine ? In yours you setup your GPU's manually, nothing more .. Is there a bug ?

Do you think I can reach more hashrate with my GPU ?

[2018-11-30 11:54:04] GPU0 :    2084 H/s [T: 60c, RPM: 1146, CC: 1502 MHz, MC: 1105 MHz][BUS:9]
[2018-11-30 11:54:04] GPU1 :    2085 H/s [T: 56c, RPM: 1217, CC: 1502 MHz, MC: 1105 MHz][BUS:13]
[2018-11-30 11:54:04] GPU2 :    2083 H/s [T: 62c, RPM: 1208, CC: 1502 MHz, MC: 1105 MHz][BUS:3]
[2018-11-30 11:54:04] Total:    6252 H/s

Thanks for your help !

Hi Mate!

Sorry for the late answer had long last days, much to do!  Undecided

I dont understand your question because i see everything is fine with your Vega´s!?!?!?.. Your Hashrate on V8 is ~2084 H/s, this is absolutely nice!! You have more then
mine, haha.. the different is just, you draw higher powers (1502 Mhz, MC: 1105 Mhz) im drawing with (1408 Mhz, MC: 905 Mhz)

I think you just looked to the stats from Algo: FESTIVAL-COIN? Because this is a lighter Algo! There you can have about ~2100 H/s  Cheesy Wink

So your hashrates are very good, everything is fine!! Wink

Greetins
Patrick
