Vilification - A Serious Problem In The World
by
xablizzy
on 29/10/2021, 23:10:26 UTC
Oh the soul wrecking effects of vilification. While the vilified is abused, the vilifier is reduced to rubbles. Sadly, many think they are smart because they have something stupid to say about everyone that challenges or disagree with them.
Sadly, they tend to forget the saying that goes "you cannot give what you don't have". We are essentially what we produce with our mouth.

Re: DIVORCE - COOL OR NOT? 2

One reason why people (in some African countries) never buy into divorce could be its prevalent religion. Lets not forget to add that most families frown at the idea of divorce. They prefer spouses to endure whatsoever they are dealing with in their marriage rather than quitting it.
It is worthy to mention that at exchange of wedding vows, there's a line that goes "for better and for worse". In other words, one promise to stick with their spouses regardless.
Again shouldn't there be a deal breaker?

Thank you for the contribution... Divorce sometimes can be difficult especially for religious people.
In this contents,DIVORCE,there are some reasons to consider before to jugde, either cool or not.Let's say COOL,if both side ,decided to separate ,unhappy ,and respect what both side decisions, whatever the reasons ,but in the end they are happy and have freedom.Other is not suitable to divorce if both side not admitted to change there life and not consider, what's the best way ,to avoid arguing everyday and fighting, feelings sometimes teach you to fight so ,can handle all situations comes.Whatever, what comes always think, the future who involves ,that situations, especially the CHILDRENS WHO AFFECTED.

In cases where one of the partner is always unnecessarily paranoid and violent, separation won't be a bad idea at all. Your point is valid and noted.
It depends on the issue whereby that can cause divorce. In a case where a partner is violent always which could lead to dealth when there is misunderstanding. If the other partner choose to divorce due to phobia that he/she may be a victim of violent it's better than to lose life .
Divorce is not something pleasant, it is not an easy thing to build a sacred marriage bond. It's disgusting when simple matters have to end in divorce.
But if you have experienced domestic violence, I think divorce is the best solution to get rid of the trauma

DIVORCE - COOL OR NOT?

Never I have thought I would encourage someone to divorce their spouse but here I am about to do that... 😔
Truth is many of us shouting in Africa "divorce is not an option" lowkey don't have strong conviction about that profession.
Personally, this is the reason I'm yet to marry any lady. I know divorce is an option & I'll willingly use it. So, when I get into a relationship with a lady & I sense her wahala is more than I can bear I first prayerfully handle it & it always end in peace.
Do I believe there are perfect marriages?.....

ENaira speed wallet back on playstore (updated version):

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ng.gov.cbn.speed.wallet.temp

Just a wondering why the app was taken down by google in the first place was the app reported as scam project or was there a bug in the system, I know the negative reviews were low. I've tried to signup for several days now but after I see say you must deposit from bank to the e-naira I lost interest. To buy with credits card for make sense pass

I will only download that App when they start referrals, like 1k per invite will not be bad.
Guy this is a national project, they are not running. Ponzi scheme na abi banks dey pay 1k for referrals?

No one would want the US to setup a camp in their country because they never really end the war and in the long run, it's Nigerians that will suffer while they (US) benefit from the war they were suppose to end.
Nigerians themselves have to get up and fight for themselves, nobody... Absolutely no one is coming to deliver them not when they don't have anything to gain from the quest. It's one year memorial today and it has dawned on most Nigerians and other well meaning Africans that we are alone in this struggle against bad governance and no one is coming for us.
Outside help can easily turn into interference as history and Franky1 outlines and yes as even BadDecker points to what the U.S. did in Afghanistan.

What would you like to see  happen in terms of a prosperous Nigeria?

when the US came in and helped with "food aid" and other support. it didnt create independence and peace. it created dependants and anger.

"teach a man to fish" and instead applying the "give a man a fish"(and leave that man to fight his neighbours to keep that fish).. leaving locals to then not be self sustainable and then fighting each other over limited fish supplies. blaming each other for wanting fish rather then seeing the cause of their problems
There is so much truth to that regarding NGOs and unintended consequences and even the perfectly thought out 'for profit' non-profits.
I liked some of the ways local service clubs continued support once an installment went in (solar, wells, ect) however it wasn't like anyone could get a part from a local home improvement store for quick repairs (at the time). Teach a man to fish and make tools.

True!! Your point is very valid. From experience, we have seen the US done more harm than good. They never give lasting solutions ever.

No matter how corrupt and bad this present Nigeria government is I still do not want the USA government stepping in, they will make it worse. We have seen different countries they stepped into and how worse those countries turned to. Libya is there as an example. Afghanistan is there. Let the Nigeria masses rise and confront their wicked leaders and that is the best approach to solve this. It nearly happened in 2020 during the endears demonstration. It will happen again.

We already have BokoHaram here which can be likely or even more notorious that Al-qaeda. Some theories have it that US has hand in that too.
Well, get  few of your people to the US government, make contracts with them so that you get help from them, and your part is to become Taliban/Al-qaeda/ISIS/etc. group(s) working for the US. Then you will get help from the US.

If you are like me who grew up in Africa ( Nigeria precisely), you will feel like a cultural immigrants sort of in this day's culture. Truth is in many African countries, we literally went from the Unthinkable to unquestionable in a split second historically speaking.
I would never have thought a day will come when nudity and public space will be a thing in Nigeria; so much so that it is celebrated and having great support. Our societal norms and values are practically watered down every day and we are gradually losing ourselves as a people. Sad?? Isn't it? Maybe we would want to put the blame on civilization as we always do but we are responsible for whatever we tolerate as humans.

Na who no get sense go do this eNaira thing sha.. Lowkey, even Buhari no know wetin e launch sef. Zero economics sense in the whole thing. *What is eNaira?* 🤔

eNaira is a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria as a legal tender. It is the digital form of the physical Naira and can be used the same way as cash.

What's the difference between eNaira and the funds in one's account?

eNaira is a digital currency and is a direct liability on the Central Bank of Nigeria while the money in your bank account is Naira held as deposit liabilities by the financial institution.

What are the benefits?

eNaira is a fast, affordable, secure, and reliable payment option designed to support the digital economy and aid financial inclusion in Nigeria. eNaira will, among other benefits, enhance the Nigerian payment ecosystem, increase revenue and tax collection, aid targeted social interventions, and improve diaspora remittances. Users can make contactless payments with eNaira by scanning a QR code.

Will eNaira Replace Cash?

No. eNaira will circulate alongside cash as a more efficient, safe, and cost-saving payment option.

How do I fund my wallet?

Funding of your eNaira wallet can be done through your regular bank app from your bank account and via cash through an eNaira verification agent, over the counter at designated bank branch or a SANEF agent. (SANEF means Shared Agent Network Expansion Facilities)

Does the eNaira Yield any Interest?

No. The eNaira has no interest component

Is your eNaira wallet safe and easily accessible?

Yes. eNaira is safe and secured with advanced cryptographic techniques against counterfeiting, cloning and other forms of breaches. The eNaira wallet operates an open system that is accessible to all users based on a tiered KYC structure.

Is data well protected?

Yes. Data protection and privacy remains fundamental to the core design of the eNaira system and users will be able to determine how their data is used, shared and processed.

Abeg someone like me wey dey busy wit crypto no fit dey wahala mysef ontop deir mata, afterall wetin i get for keeping my moni on E-Naira wallet, who dem help?.

Double Standards In Our Society
by
xablizzy
on 26/10/2021, 13:51:27 UTC
It is no news that people tend to have double standards these days when their bias is echoed and vice versa. The logical inconsistency of the mind - I mean emotional mind in all its doings/contemplations is that it creates double standards for itself and the rest of the society; thereby insisting its double standard at different scenarios is correct without strong or even weak reason. This in turn is creating a world of chaos.
When our emotion is in control, all other valid reasons usually falls on deaf ears. Facts that contradict our preconceived judgement/ prejudgement are simply not believed. Even when facts are irrefutable, they are ignored and regarded to be inconsequential or incidental.

History In Shambles
by
xablizzy
on 26/10/2021, 12:36:19 UTC
It is true that for a society to progress it must know how it is formed, its intrinsic components, core values and traditions. No society can move forward or make reasonable progress without considering its past - where it is coming from. History is bound to repeats itself when people in the present are not armed with the knowledge of past events.
Sadly, in Africa - Nigeria especially who happen to be the largest black nation, history is not regarded as a thing. In fact, the political class have successfully erase history from the nation's educational curriculum. So, what is taught in school about the nation is mere fallacy and not the truth as it should be.
History has lost its relevance in Nigeria. So much so that the Nigerian educator only teaches Nnamdi Azikwe and his likes as current affairs. Singing praises of its hero past whereas these so-called heroes ain't one if we are to look deeply at their lives. Couple of them sow discord that led to the civil war in the country. Away from that, truth is current affairs should be what is going on presently not some half-cooked stories to paint some leaders from parts of Nigeria great and leaving out the core of the story. That should be the way forward not just for Nigeria but other African countries.

Information they say is power and helps one to walk in the light. The importance of information cannot be overemphasised that's why we have various outlet and media to get information.
As humans, it is advisable to get at least a bit of information about everything. It always give you an edge and not to be tossed around by any/every thing.
One of the means of getting information is through news houses. To mention a few, we have the popular ones like the CNN, Aljazeera, BBC, Fox and many others. To have a balanced political view on his topics, you have to watch or have more than one of these News channel options.

Cheating has first become the norm in the society these days. It seems not to be a big deal to be in love relationship/marriage and cheating on your partners. Another challenge nowadays is people don't have boundaries or don't know when they are crossing the boundaries.

Witchcraft Traits

on 25/10/2021, 20:48:18 UTC
Disobedience, stubbornness and lies are interrelated. They have been linked to witchcraft. In fact, lying is the common of the three but the highest form of evil/ witchcraft is not telling lie. The highest form of witchcraft is saying statement of truth wrongly. So, we see that there is something higher than lying. Stating a truth in an inappropriate way is worse than telling a lie bluntly.

The way I dey see am the thing be one kind sha because anytime Buhari and Osibanjo dey come with anything like project with this kind passion and commitment wey dem dey put into this eNaira thing, we go just know say no be for the  interest of Nigerians, eNaira na another means for these greedy politicians to loot money and now e go easy with eNaira because dem no go hold dem accountable like this.
