OP, can you confirm if you've gained access to all of your fund and are able to [or already did] withdraw them? If you have, and that you've consider this situation as resolved with this recent development, kindly mark this thread as resolved by changing the title [through editing the first post's subject] to indicate it's resolved, and lock the thread [the button will be at the bottom left of the page].

I'll reflect to this development and mark them as resolved on my list upon your confirmation.

I confirm that I've regained access to my account and all the funds in it. I'll mark this thread as resolved and lock it.

Thank you very much to BC.Game Support, and especially to holydarkness, for the help! Your support was invaluable, and I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into assisting me.

In their reply BC.Game stated they were co-ordinating with the third-party game provider and that the provider requested they withheld the funds. That post was made on 1st August 2024 therefore nearly two weeks have passed. It cannot be easy waiting patiently for any length of time when a huge amount of money is at stake. I hope they update the thread as soon as any significant development occurs in order for this matter to be concluded.

Since then, I've received updates and more information, thanks to [helper] and [support]. It seems that the provider requested an investigation, and my account was closed as a precautionary measure until the investigation is complete. As I understand it now, my account wasn’t closed due to a ToS violation.

Thank you for pointing it out. I have edited it. ChatGPT helps a lot with correcting my posts, but I missed switching the names. Sorry holydarkness and BC.Game Support.

Yes, there is a lot money at stake, but after the updates I received, it has became easier to wait. As long as it gets resolved - and it seems like it will soon - I am content.

I've got a response from BC and they informed me that they're still waiting for the provider to finish investigation and/or made their [the provider] ruling of the situation they found you're in. They've [BC] been trying to press and chase the provider to conclude the investigation faster, but, as always, the length of a third party investigation is completely out of casinos control.

However, I was informed that it won't be too long now.

The provider is currently handling the issue, and BC.GAME is actively following up on the matter.
We hope to receive and publicly share the conclusion from the provider within the next few days.

Thank you both for the update. I look forward to the conclusion of the investigation and its findings.

For clarification, I never actually played with all (or even a sixth) of those 277 'currencies' at the same time. That would have been absolutely overwhelming and way less fun. I simply switched between them regularly
Looking at this from a different angle, is there anything at all that comes to your mind that you were sure about was deemed to be within the rules (normal/acceptable) yet could be misconstrued by BC.Game as you breaking the rules stated in their terms and conditions?

Regarding your question, I'm not entirely sure why you quoted that particular line from me.

In my original post, I mentioned that I had played with multiple different currencies, and later the number was specified as 277. Without clarification, it might be easy to assume that I played with all 277 currencies simultaneously, which would be impossible for one person—unless they were cheating or using a bot, which I did not do. My intention with that line was to indirectly clarify that I didn’t cheat or use any bots. However, I could be mistaken, and perhaps no one interpreted it that way, making this explanation unnecessary.

When I first posted, I had very little information about my situation. All I knew was that I had received an email from support stating that I was permanently banned for violating the ToS by using prohibited techniques. Since then, through browsing this forum, I've learned that this message was just a template. Normally, these messages include the specific reason for the ban and refer to the relevant clause of the ToS, but that part was missing in the message I received, leaving me with only a vague understanding of the issue. At the time, I assumed my playstyle was considered a prohibited technique by BC.Game. So, to answer your question, that was the one thing I believed was within the rules but could have been construed by BC.Game as a ToS violation.

Since then, I've received updates and more information, thanks to [helper] and [support]. It seems that the provider requested an investigation, and my account was closed as a precautionary measure until the investigation is complete. As I understand it now, my account wasn’t closed due to a ToS violation.

I have to say that I am also quite unclear with the 277 currencies statement.

Thank you, holydarkness, for going out of your way to help and connect me to someone who can provide some information. I immensely appreciate it.

The 277 currencies statement refers to different crypto/fiat currency pairs, like how USDT/USD, USDT/EUR, and TRX/EUR are considered three different currencies in this case.

Playing this way essentially increased my chances of winning promotional prizes with the same bet spread compared to playing with only a single crypto/fiat pair. Maybe there is some unwritten guideline that forbids such a playstyle in this particular case, although I am not aware of it. Hopefully, the detailed explanation will clarify this as well because, as I said previously, I believe I was fully compliant with all of the (written) terms.

Thank you for giving me your side. I understand correctly that what you're saying is, in layman terms, you uses as many pairs as you can to increase the numbers and/or spreads of your entries to increase the chance of winning their promo prize?

I am currently in touch with BC staff and they're going to revert to me with more info. I'll update when I know more.

I would not say that. I played this way for my personal enjoyment only. It just happened, totally coincidentally, that there was an active promotion and that this particular playstyle also increased my chances of winning some additional prizes, which, still with a great deal of luck, I also managed to win a few times.

For clarification, I never actually played with all (or even a sixth) of those 277 'currencies' at the same time. That would have been absolutely overwhelming and way less fun. I simply switched between them regularly.

Thank you for your continuous help, and I look forward to the update.

After a detailed review of your account activity, we identified that certain activities may have been conducted in a manner inconsistent with our Terms of Service. Specifically, we observed patterns related to the use of 277 currencies and participation in third-party provider promotions, which raised concerns about compliance with our platform's guidelines. This has led to the decision to close your account as a precautionary measure.

Currently, we are coordinating with the third-party game provider regarding the funds associated with the activities in question. This provider has requested that we withhold any potential gains resulting from activities deemed non-compliant with their promotional guidelines. Once the necessary adjustments are made, we will re-evaluate the remaining funds and provide further information.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this process. We will escalate your request for a detailed explanation and an update on the status of your funds to provide you with a clearer resolution as soon as possible.

Thank you for providing information regarding the case and clarifying the reason for my account's closure. Could you please give a rough estimate of how long this review process will take? Regardless, I will wait patiently for the investigation to end, but I will check back from time to time if I do not receive updates regularly.

I still believe I was compliant with your Terms of Service, the terms of the game, and the terms of the mentioned promotion. I hope that the detailed explanation will point out which parts of the terms I have allegedly violated.

Still I wonder why the provider awarded the prize to me in the first place if they believe I have breached the terms of their promotion.

I have to say that I am also quite unclear with the 277 currencies statement.

Thank you, holydarkness, for going out of your way to help and connect me to someone who can provide some information. I immensely appreciate it.

Re: How high is the probability of accusations vs. casinos in BitcoinTalk are true?

There is a saying that goes by "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

I do think that the vast majority - if not all - complaints are genuine in a way that the person complaining feels like they got cheated/mistreated by the casino. I am sure the feeling itself is very real, although there is a high - about 50% - chance that the complaint is actually invalid.

Can't we say that it is malicious that some people are making accusations because they want to harm the casino? It is no less evil if someone does it because of some dissatisfaction after losing money in the casino. There are people with real issues and ones with invalid complaints, but I just wish to remind you about the third group of "paid trolls & people who can't accept when they lose".

I would not call it malice or evil per se. I consider an action malicious or evil if the purpose of the action is to hurt, and I do not think that is the case here. Making a negative review or a public complaint will negatively affect the reputation of what the review is about. Does it mean that every negative review or complaint ever made is malicious or evil? I do not think so, yet all of these affect the product, experience, or business negatively. The purpose of these actions is not to hurt but to share an experience, rant, validate their feelings, or—especially in the case of online gambling—to get someone to look at their issues and resolve them. The purpose is not to hurt; it is just a side effect. Although it definitely helps as casinos only care about their profits, which correlate with their reputation. So the mere threat to their reputation makes them more likely to spend resources to resolve the issue instead of just ignoring the player forever. Of course, proper oversight and regulatory authority -if there were such- could also enforce issue resolution through either fines or license revocations.

I would definitely not treat paid trolls and people who can't accept losing in the same group.

The latter group is emotion-driven; they want to rant, get compassion, and believe that the house cheated them because otherwise, they would need to face the sad reality that they just gambled away the rent money. The purpose of their complaints is for them not to feel so bad about themselves, not to hurt the casino, although that happens as a side effect.

The former group is malicious; their purpose is to hurt the reputation of the casino. I just thought about it, and this group is supposed to have the most resources. It makes no sense to me what many forum members believe — that the vast majority of complaining new users are part of this group: trolls whose purpose is to hurt the casino. They have the resources to either buy or "grow" credible accounts and use those for accusations and complaints. Why would they go with fresh, low effort, totally uncredible accounts?

Hi, I'm trying to piece some puzzles here and will rely your case to my contact on BC [alongside with several other that recently popped up] after you gave me a better understanding, do you mind to tell us which game did you play with that technique?

Hi holydarkness, I appreciate your help. The game was Pragmatic Play's new(ish) Lucky Roulette 6. The game itself has some betting rules stated in-game (all straight-up bets allowed; for all other bets, a maximum of 95% of the numbers can be covered), but those rules were adhered to as well, both in each individual session and considering all sessions together.

[BC.GAME] Account permanently locked, 74k USD withheld, casino unresponsive
by
MFreM
on 29/07/2024, 09:39:36 UTC
Platform: BC.GAME
Username: Jnwlvnwkoyb

Summary:
About two weeks ago, my account with significant funds was "permanently closed" for "violations of our Terms of Service involving prohibited techniques." Live support directs me to email support, but email support replies with the same message to my every inquiry. Account closed, funds withheld, support unresponsive.

Background:
I have been playing on BC.GAME since November 2023. Since then, I have deposited over $30,000 and withdrawn over $20,000. According to my bonus page, I have received about $600 in bonuses, excluding lottery ticket vouchers and level-up spin crypto rewards, which were negligible. Unfortunately, I have been using the 'Vault Pro' to hold crypto assets recently, earning about $200 in interest so far. At the time of my account closure, I had over $74,000 in various crypto assets, most of it in the 'Vault Pro'.

What happened:
Two weeks ago, on July 13, I tried to withdraw funds after a significant win. However, I was unable to do so because my withdrawal rights were suspended. It had been about two weeks since my last withdrawal, and I hadn't visited the withdrawal page since then, so I was unaware of this until that point. I contacted live support and was informed that I must wait for a technical team inspection.

On July 15, when I tried to log in, I received an "Account verification needed" error message. I contacted live support again, and they told me to reach out via email. https://pastebin.com/0tZpTR85

So I did. The whole conversation can be read here: https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/07/29/4lAMJ.png

In their reply, I was informed that:
Quote
... After conducting a thorough review of your account activity, we regret to inform you that there have been violations of our Terms of Service involving prohibited techniques. Such actions are strictly forbidden and undermine the integrity of our platform.

As a consequence, your account has been permanently locked. This decision is final and is in accordance with our Terms of Service, to which all users agree upon registration. ...

Please note that the decision to permanently lock your account has been made after a thorough and fair investigation. ...

I believe I did not breach their ToS, so I asked for further information about what they mean by "prohibited techniques." I also asked about their intentions with the funds in my account.

In response, they sent me the same message again.

The following part of their ToS addresses prohibited techniques:
Quote
2.1.13. You accept and acknowledge that we reserve the right to detect and prevent the use of prohibited techniques, including but not limited to fraudulent transaction detection, automated registration and signup, gameplay and screen capture techniques. These steps may include, but are not limited to, examination of players' device properties, detection of geo-location and IP masking, transactions and blockchain analysis.
https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/07/29/4lmzd.png

I have not used any of these techniques. Recently, I did play in a somewhat unusual manner, which involved playing the same game simultaneously with multiple different currencies. However, I believe this playstyle complies with their Terms of Service.

Nonetheless, their ToS also states the following:
Quote
8. Breaches, Penalties, and Termination

8.1. If you breach any provision of this User Agreement or we have a reasonable ground to suspect that you have breached them, we reserve the right to not open, to suspend, or to close your Member Account, or withhold payment of your winnings and apply such funds to any damages due by you.
https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/07/29/4lP0z.png

So even though I believe I was ToS compliant, they can close my account based on just suspecting I breached it. This is something I cannot argue with, as it is in the ToS after all.

In my next message, I acknowledged and accepted their decision, asked them to withdraw my funds from the Vault Pro, and send them to me. I also asked them to provide a detailed list of any damages and their associated costs if they decide to withhold any of my winnings to cover 'damages' I have caused. (Hopefully not much - if any - as a very large portion of my winnings are from various providers' network promotions over the year: daily drops, tournaments, races, etc. All of which - I believe - are funded by the providers and not out of BC.GAME's own pockets.)

And I got the same reply. Again.

So this is where I am right now: the account is permanently closed, about $74,000 worth of crypto is withheld, and the casino refuses to properly communicate.

What I request:
  • Provide sufficient information about the reason for the ban. Which point of the ToS do they suspect me of violating? What evidence do they base their decision on for closing my account? How was this "thorough and fair investigation" they refer to conducted?
  • Release my funds. If they were to withhold any part of it to cover the 'damages' I have caused, as per 8.1 ToS, provide sufficient evidence of said damages and their associated cost.

Thank you for your attention.

There is a saying that goes by "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity." And gamblers are not the sharpest bunch. This could explain why they can not follow the scam report format.

I do think that the vast majority - if not all - complaints are genuine in a way that the person complaining feels like they got cheated/mistreated by the casino. I am sure the feeling itself is very real, although there is a high - about 50% - chance that the complaint is actually invalid.

I can understand those feelings. I believe most invalid complaint are invalid because the player somehow breached the ToS. However every single ToS I have read by offshore licensed casinos are extremely anti-costumer. They refuse any liability, can be changed anytime, include tons of reasons for which they can ban you and confiscate your winnings, many of those are not properly defined thus open to (their) interpretation. If someone get penalized because of such unfair rules it is understandable that they feel upset. Of course it is still their fault for not following the ToS, at least the parts that are not open for different interpretations. However, most gamblers probably do not even read the ToS at all, at least not until they get burnt.

I think that the low effort, invalid complaints are more akin to rant posts, than actual accusations, even if they call it as such.

Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews?

I really like numbers and tables. Much more than texts, as those are clear, objective and easily comparable.

However my first point would require text, and that s an archive of the casinos current and past Term of Service and Bonus Terms and highlighting how often it changes and how. I heard of cases where someone won big with bonus balance, completed the wager and he was not allowed to withdraw it because  on the fly the casinochanged the Bonus Terms to include the game he just played on as restricted slot. This would show how often does a casino do such things, which could be a strong red flag.

Shortened, understandable ToS, especially highlighting unfair points. (Though most offshore casinos have such unfair terms that this point might be totally irrelevant.)

For cryto casinos it would be nice to know which coins are accepted and on which network, also how much fee do they charge for withdrawals for each coin-network pair.

Again for crypto casinos: what currencies do they support and whether or not a player can change the currencies they play in anytime, or is it fixed at registration.

For fiat: list the different deposit and withdraw methods, and warn the player if there is such a deposit method that has no withdrawal option too.

Presenting the loyalty program, preferably with numbers included.

Presenting the various bonuses and their terms.

Making an indicator about how good a casino is rtpwise. Have a good rating if they licence the slots with the possible highest rtp, and lower and lower as they license it with worse and worse rtp. (Like how the same pragmatic play slots can be licensed with 96% rtp, or 94%, or even less. This is true for many other provider.)

Showing whether KYC can be done before the first deposit.

This is all I can think of right now, that I think most review sites lack.

There was a post in earlier in this topic by tranthidung who counted the scam accusations, applied a little math magic on it to show the overall 40-60% of the scam accusation complaints are valid when you have big enough sample. While this number is far from 100%, it definitely shows that it is not true that the most or even the majority of accusations are false or invalid. It is about 50-50.

Here it is:
As I promised yesterday.

Total accusations and cases for invalid, in-progress, inactive, active, unresolved, resolved.

Definitions for them, please get there

This part is for percent, as guessed by OP, percent for invalid cases is usually high if we count for brands with considerable sample sizes.

Percent here for resolved cases are calculated by total resolved cases / total accusations. Indeed, it would be more accurate if we do as follows: total resolved cases/ total valid cases, but I skipped it for now.

Edit: I do it as resolved_p2

I have some theories on why newbies complain the most and not the regular forum users.

I think the reason are simply the numbers. There are much less active forum user casino players than non-forum user casino players. If we assume that everyone playing in a casino has an equal chance of major problem happening to them, than it will result much more non-forum users having such a negative experience compared to active forum users. And after such an experience, since there is no way to resolve it satisfactorily, they might come, register and complain as that is the only thing they can possibly do. To get attention and also to warn others.

The other reason might be that regs probably read the forum much more thoroughly.  Unlike me, for example, who only lurked around to find new casinos to play at. If a casino had a topic with at least 20 pages of posts, I checked the casino out without actually reading those posts.  If I liked what I saw, I started playing there. I simply assumed that as the post count increased, so did the credibility of the casino. This is not necessarily the case.

Before I became a 'newbie', I was a long-time lurker, in read-only mode, browsing this forum to find new casinos and check them out. The very reason I registered was to post in this very topic, as I had no other way to resolve my issue but to go public somewhere. As I mentioned before, the support team essentially ignores me, and there is no regulatory body for offshore casinos to turn to.

This is the thing I hate most about offshore casinos: they can do absolutely anything, and there is no way to hold them accountable. Their ToS states that they are not liable for anything, they reserve the right to ban anyone, confiscate funds, and do whatever they want. The only reason they don't just run off with everyone's money is that they make more money by not doing so. They are a business, after all. However, if they were to run off, they would face absolutely no consequences. In such a poorly regulated environment, adhering to the ToS is more of a goodwill gesture than a rule. Unfortunately, no respectable gambling authority allows crypto payments or gives licenses to crypto casinos yet, so it's either fiat or risking this.

I have no interest in your banner campaign because, you know, I have a far bigger issue right now. I might be too naive, but it never even crossed my mind that I could be viewed as a malicious actor throwing fake accusations, outright lies, or attacking someone's favorite, perfect casino just so they lose some forum promotion campaign. In my opinion, this is an insanely paranoid way of thinking, and I really hope this is not the norm.

You are right that I did not provide proof and the lack of it hurts my credibility. Though I am not sure what would suffice as proof. Perhaps I could anonymize and show my emails with the support. In hindsight, I should have already included them. I will make sure to get around to it soon. Until then, please lets imagine a world in which what I wrote previously is true. In that purely hypothetical scenario, what would you do in my place?

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for some help to contact a BCGAME representative.

TLDR: About a week ago, my account with significant funds was "permanently closed" for "violations of our Terms of Service involving prohibited techniques." Live support directs me to email support, but email support replies with the same message to every inquiry. Account closed, funds withheld, support unresponsive.

Short story long, but first some numbers: I have been playing on BCGAME since November 2023. Since then, I have deposited over $30,000 and withdrawn over $20,000. I have received about $600 in bonuses, excluding lottery ticket vouchers and level-up spin crypto rewards, which were negligible. Unfortunately, I have been using the 'Vault Pro' to hold crypto assets recently, earning about $200 in interest so far. At the time of my account closure, I had over $70,000 in various crypto assets, most of it in the 'Vault Pro'.

Two weeks ago on Saturday, I tried to withdraw funds after a significant win (as I thought having $70k in a casino was a bit too excessive). I was unable to do so because my withdrawal rights were suspended. I contacted support and was informed that I must wait for a technical team inspection. On Monday, when I tried to log in, I received an "Account verification needed" error message. I contacted live support again, and they told me to reach out via email. So I did.

In their reply, I was informed that:
Quote
"... After conducting a thorough review of your account activity, we regret to inform you that there have been violations of our Terms of Service involving prohibited techniques. Such actions are strictly forbidden and undermine the integrity of our platform. As a consequence, your account has been permanently locked. This decision is final and is in accordance with our Terms of Service, to which all users agree upon registration. ..."

I believe I did not breach their ToS, so I asked for further information about what they mean by "prohibited techniques." I also asked about their intentions with the funds in my account.

In response, they sent me the same message again.

The following part of their ToS addresses prohibited techniques:
Quote
"2.1.13. You accept and acknowledge that we reserve the right to detect and prevent the use of prohibited techniques, including but not limited to fraudulent transaction detection, automated registration and signup, gameplay and screen capture techniques. These steps may include, but are not limited to, examination of players' device properties, detection of geo-location and IP masking, transactions and blockchain analysis."

I have not used any of these techniques. Recently, I did play in a somewhat unusual manner, involving playing the same game simultaneously with multiple different currencies. However, I believe this playstyle complies with their Terms of Service.

Nonetheless, their ToS also states the following:
Quote
"8. Breaches, Penalties and Termination

8.1. If you breach any provision of this User Agreement or we have a reasonable ground to suspect that you have breached them, we reserve the right to not open, to suspend, or to close your Member Account, or withhold payment of your winnings and apply such funds to any damages due by you.

8.2. You acknowledge that BC.GAME shall be the final decision-maker of whether you have violated BC.GAME’s rules, terms or conditions in a manner that results in your suspension or permanent barring from participation in our site."

So even if I was ToS compliant, they can close my account based on just suspecting I breached it. This is something I cannot argue with, it is in the ToS after all. (Side note: in my opinion, this clause, along with point 2.1.13, is essentially a ban-anyone wildcard, as "prohibited techniques" are not properly defined, nor is what they mean by "reasonable ground to suspect".)

In my next message, I acknowledged and accepted their decision, asked them to withdraw my funds from the Vault Pro, and send it to me. I also asked them to provide a detailed list of any damages and their associated costs if they decide to withhold any of my winnings to cover 'damages' I have caused, according to point 8.1 of their ToS.

And I got the same reply. Again.

So this is where I am right now: account closed, funds withheld, support not communicating. It would be nice to know why exactly my account was closed, although it would not change the fact that it is permanently banned. What I really want is for them to release my funds, as per their own ToS.

Finally, though the following is not directly relevant to this case, I'd like to express my disappointment with how BCGAME communicates, or more precisely, fails to communicate, issues. I was not informed about any sanctions against my account. I have no idea how long my account was in a withdrawal-restricted state. It could have been a day or two weeks, as that was the last time I visited that page. The same goes for blocking the account; if I had not tried to log in, I would still be unaware of its permanent ban. Over the years, I have played at countless casinos and have even been banned from some. Without exception, they informed me about it first, not just after I found out I was not allowed to log in. Their letters also included a reference to the exact point in their ToS by which they decided to close the account. (Almost always pointing to the wildcard clause, "we reserve the right to close an existing account without prior notice or justification," or equivalent.) My remaining balance was also paid out, and to my great surprise, always within two days, even in casinos where a withdrawal normally took a week. I find it also disappointing that BCGAME failed to address the issue of the remaining balance completely. They have provided no information about whether they intend to withhold it, pay it out fully, or pay it out partially. I suppose them avoiding the issue entirely means they intend to keep it all. Still, I cannot be 100% sure as they keep this info for themselves.

If anything, I have learned not to keep more money in a casino than I am comfortable losing at any time, even when not playing. I can only hope this lesson did not cost me $70k.

Any advice or ideas are appreciated.
