I think admins should do something about this new generation of scammer on bitcointalk or require a minimul level to start a selling topic. I'm aware that escrow exist.

- Ask for a minimum amount to purchase (for this one he said 31) invoking a stupid reason
- If you pay he will create another story to make you pay more
- If you refuse then he will clear telegram chat and block you

I've never had problems
yesterday for test I opened an account without verification, loaded 2 btc, deposits and whitdraw, fast without problems.
Will it be my luck alone? I do not think so!
p.s. they have active segwit support

2 btc is nothing compared to what wex confiscated from us. Read well our stories, it is not a problem of new or old account. They just decided to tock people account without any explanation and after we provided all requested documents there is no more reply from their support. I've never had problems

It's been almost 5 months that i'm trying to access my funds and no success. I can conclude that even complaints on this forum were not able to affect wex. Most of people affected by this problem have a significant balance and what i guess is that they cannot allow us to withdraw those funds if they not recover from their loss.
If you noticed they have very high fees for fiat deposit and sometimes for withdrawal too, so probably they are trying to make some money to get their service stable again. I'm sure that all people who trade now on wex not have more than 5000 USD. So it is matter of luck now to see our funds again or to see wex go offline if they fail, we were just too naive to trust wex as an online wallet.
What i can say now is that i'm tired to claim my money so i can only tell you guys that i'm working on something to scam as much people as possible to get back my money (including all bitcoin fork). Even if it takes me 5-10 years i'll achieve it because it is the same amount of time it took me to collect all those coins.

despite them claiming they're a new operation, more than likely they're the same people who ran btc-e. btc-e was famous for its useless support unless you sent stuff to them in russian.
Yes send them in Russian the issue is they do mot want to give you the access to funds as now they have a excuse, bet wex.nz will do a bigger a even bigger scam

I'm aware of this address and it is only there to make them look like they are legit. If you look on GoogleMap you will see that many businesses are located at this address building. From what i know their office is located in Western Europe.

For a moment i thought that i was alone (no reply on my scam accusation post) with this complain but now that i read some posts here and on reddit i understand that wex is just playing dirty. I read on their telegram group that verification take 1 day for "non blocked account", but not information about blocked/suspended account.
For my case i was using my account without any problem until in January i try to log in as usually and see a message saying my account has been suspended and to be verified. On their terms of use page, verification is not required for people who use crypto. I tried to talk to support and someone asked me proof of deposit. After i provided that, another member of support said all funds sent after btc-e seizure are in control of US and i was surprised because i didn't send any fund at this period. When i contacted them again to understand what is wrong, the same support member ask me to verify my account, then i filled the form and sent all scans. After that no more reply again from them on support or even here on forum where they just delete complains on their topic page.
What i can say is that i have been an IDIOT to continue to trust them because i had enough time to withdraw all my BTC and BCH from this site and now it is it is a little ibt late. It looks like they select some specific people to compensate their loses and if this method not work after a period
they will probably close their site.

I never had any problem withdrawing fiat money with them before this.
Maybe the withdrawal amount is small.
So, this time, I sold 2 btc on wex.
And I requested USD 23k withdrawal to EPAY.com payment wallet.
Normally, they will pay in 2 days.
But this time, it has been 4 days.
When I submitted support ticket, they closed it.
I assume, they do not have enough fund in EPAY.
So, I decided not to wait any longer, I told them to cancel my withdrawal and ask for refund.
Again, they do not respond to the ticket and close it immediately.

Is there anyone here on bitcointalk who is not using fiat on wex but got suspended account + verification request without any reason ? I did what they asked me but no more reply from them. All of my bitcoin and bitcoin cash are blocked on this site and i'm starting to lose all hope.

Their support was very responsive when they ask me for deposit proofs. After i provided them all proofs, they ask me to fill verification and i did. Since this time no more reply from their support while all my activities are suspended for almost one month.

Apart the fact that they ignore all English written messages here, they not have time to reply/solve ticket issue but they have enough time to delete visitors posts who complain about their service.

They ask for drivers id and address confirmation, then 20 or so days later, ask for a passport and high res photo of you holding the passport. They will not communicate with you in any way, other than to ask for further identification documents. Kind of a scary place to be sending so much personal info.
At best it seems like they want to discourage you from claiming your funds, at worst they're collecting your info and selling it. I haven't heard of anyone getting their account access back after verification, is there anyone out there?

I'm opening this topic because i don't know what is happening with WEX. After they launched their platform in September, i received all my balance + the tokens. I didn't withdraw my funds and keep using it to pay bills and services online with different crypto currency (BTC, LTC, DSH) until 4 days ago when i try to log in and see this message where they ask me to verify my account :
After i contacted support, instead of account verification with documents, someone asked me to send screenshots as proof of deposit.

I did it and after 2 days or waiting another person replied with something like :

Until now they avoid my question about the reason why they blocked my account. They keep ignoring this question so the only reason i can see is that they want to keep my BTC + BCH that i received after service restart.
I'm well aware that this forum can not do anything against WEX but i'm doing this topic just to notify people with high balance to withdraw all their crypto as soon as they can (i hope that WEX will allow it). They will probably not read it. I tried to make a new user to ask on chat about this issue to others but 1000 USD is required to chat on WEX
so i choose to come here.
I also know that my chance to recover my funds is 1% because the way their support is acting is a proof that they are not serious.
