I can finally happily say that my case can be considered closed. My account was re-opened yesterday and I have successfully withdrew my balance. Thanks Ronnie, for escalating the issue!

Silver linning for cloudbet I suppose. I mean they obviously hired a proper support here, that is not a bad idea, the dude who is here working constantly and always writing stuff that should be written here instead of leaving people in the dark so that part of the deal is great. However, the fact that people are still not getting anything done, not withdrawing, having issues with support, not getting anything after 2 months and all those things really makes the support futile.

I mean if you answer with "we will get back to you" that is not resolving a solution, that is not a way of stopping us looking out for our best interest, that is just you saying "shut up and let us work, we may not even give you your money back but we don't want you to constantly bothering us" and that's it. The new support person here is great news and great step towards right direction but you need to fix the internal support as well not just the external support.

I completely agree with you on this. And I need to say sorry to Ronnie, because he was the one who PMed me at the beginning to ask for my details and forward them to the internal support. So apparently he really tried to get things done, and it's not his fault there was no progress. Of course, I was nervous and angry at Cloudbet for not getting any kind of reply, and it might looked like I was too harsh with my words towards Ronnie, in fact I was targetting their whole internal support or people who take care of the KYC.

As far as I know having multiple accounts from one owner is prohibited by every online casino there is because of people taking advantages of their bonuses and promotions.
As long as all rules are respected a person can have as many accounts as he is want. As you said people that have multiple accounts usually take advantage of bonuses and that's when their accounts get blocked and they come here asking why. But as long as you respect all the rules and don't abuse promotions you can use multiple accounts.
I highly doubt this exception to even going by the rules because in every site I know of there is a point in their terms of service where if they find you are accessing multiple accounts from the same ip address they can suspend the accounts in question and even the winnings they have.
You can register for more than one account sure but once you win something and request a payout your account will be investigated and they will refer to the point in their terms of service and have the right to ban the accounts in question.

I fully agree that multi-accounting with the reason to abuse bonuses should be prohibited. First of all, I have one single account, so it does not apply on me. I am waiting on their answer to find out how my account is connected to the other. Second, to be honest I did not even check if Cloudbet has any kind of promotion, like a first deposit bonus, money back, or something like that. I am a seasoned punter, I don't care about deposit bonuses and always reject them mostly to avoid any rollover requirement or withdrawals miseries. Look, my average stake on Cloudbet was around 0.25-0.30 BTC, why should I chase any bonus when I use these kind of stakes? Honestly...

But finally, in the meantime I've got an email from a support manager.

Quote
Dear germanszaky,

Thank you for your continued patience as we continue our investigation.

Please could you explain in detail your relationship with barnana*@**.com

Please note that if you are able to provide us with accurate information, we will be able to expedite the investigation and ultimately release your funds and/or reopen your account more quickly. If you provide us with inaccurate information, the investigation can take more time.

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Apparently they are somehow connecting my account to another one, so I've replied and asked him to tell me why and based on what they connect the two accounts together. I really doubt the other guy/girl placed the same bets as I did, the only possible "problem" I could think about is that (s)he uses the same VPN provider as myself (NordVPN which is very popular), but what could be the odds on a possible IP coincidence?! but hey... I am connected to VPN pretty much all the time both on my cell phone and desktop. I really need it to access different location based online services and torrent as well which is prohibited in Germany, so everybody uses VPN here to workaround the problem.

I will keep you updated on this, but don't really understand why I had to wait almost 2 months for this email...

Morning all,

@germanszaky - Our support teams should be in touch with you shortly, I have asked them to provide you with a more detailed update on the process.

@nurzahan - We've been working on some updates to our sportsbook offering so there's a chance they were taken down temporarily, I'm passing on all the leagues you mention to our sportsbook teams so I'm hoping we can get some lines added in the near future.

@Viscore - Players receive one ticket for every bet placed (as long as the amount staked is above the minimum requirements) so the value of each bet doesn't effect the number of tickets gained. To reach the daily cap of 50 tickets you would need to place 50 individual bets.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Finally, I have an update on my case, so let me share it with you. Recently got an email from a support manager.

Can you post a screenshot of the email where they ask you for the KYC?
I don't think they often practice this!

Sure, there you go: https://imgur.com/a/NreELZT

Do you have proof of your account balance?

I have proof only of my successful deposits: 0.22 + 0.70 BTC. I was not able to take any screenshot, because my account was suspended out of the blue. I did not even request a withdrawal. But I track all my bets in a speadsheet, and the full amount should be over 2.5 BTC maybe even 3+ based on my calculations (I had some pending bets as well).

[SOLVED] Cloudbet SCAM - no more access to my account
by
germanszaky
on 26/03/2019, 18:08:06 UTC
What happened:
Making the long story short, I deposited on my account, managed to increase my balance with some winning bets, then from one day to another I was not able to login. I did not even requested a withdrawal... Right after, got an email to prove my identity with some documents, and as requested I've sent everything they asked me for. I was told the verification usually takes no more than 7 days, but in some cases could be longer. I said OK and was waiting patiently, albeit did not really understand why my account should be suspended for this time as I wanted to place more bets. All this happened on the 8th of February, 2019. I asked for an update 10 days later, but nothing. I am not a newbie bettor, I have fiat accounts with the largest online bookmakers where an ID verification takes maximum 48 hours. Next weekend it will be 2 (TWO!!!) months that I still don't have access to my account and funds. The support barely replies, and when they do the only thing I am told is they are still looking at my case. My patience is gone by now... Have a look and see how many complaints there were raised against this bookmaker recently, they are clearly delaying KYC for winning accounts, probably they try everything to avoid withdrawals.

@germanszaky - I've just spoken to one of our support team members who has responded to your latest email with an update. If you have any questions then please respond and they will be able to provide more information.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Yes, I got the below bullsh*t reply:

Quote
Thank you for your patience whilst we investigate your case.
I'd just like to let you know that we're still looking at this inquiry. I'll get back to you again with an update as soon as possible.

This is all what they can say after almost 2 (TWO!!!!!) months. This is ridiculous!!! By reading through other complaints here on the forum, it is more than clear for me now that Cloudbet tries to do everything possible to delay KYC and restrict access to winning accounts.

"If you have any questions then please response and they will be able to provide more information." Suuuure! They are providing more and more information as times goes by. The exact same nonsense bullsh*t that they are still investigating the big nothing.

Morning all,

@SyGambler - Sorry about that, we experienced a few minor issues over the weekend and some events required manual grading. I've just checked and your bets should now be settled correctly, but please let me know if there are any outstanding bets that you need me to look into.

@germanszaky - I'll speak to our teams now and try and find out the cause of the delay.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Any updates on my case? I've sent another email to your support team yesterday, and they continue to ignore me... this is what we call professonalism!

Hello everyone, bad things happened. Cloudbet does not want to give my BTC (0.86). They did not send me a letter confirming the withdrawal of funds, saying that there are technical problems. But after a couple of days of carrying out their brains, they answered me that either a 100% deposit was paid or documents for verification of their identity came. After I sent the documents, they no longer respond to me and naturally LIVE CHAT does not work.  How is such a huge company doing so?

I paid everything !!! Thank you cloudbet.com but I will not play more with you

Nice! I am happy that at least your case was solved. "Of course" there was no progress with mine, despite the fact I was promised the issue will be escalated nothing happened. I am wondering what fake reason they are going to bring up, because it is impossible not to be able to verify an account since the 8th of February...

Good morning all,

@germanszaky - I've passed your details on to our support teams and asked them to respond to you directly with an update.

@raven7886 - Your feedback is much appreciated, and I'll pass it on to our teams who are currently working to improve our service in that regard.

@ftp_1988 - Our support teams are the only ones able to advise you on a timeframe for security checks. If you are still waiting after the seven day period you have been given then please PM me here and i'll escalate the issue to support team leaders.

@malikuniversity - Thanks for getting in touch. I've just spoken to our support teams and it appears that you placed a five line acca/parlay and two of the selections didn't win (Calgary and Toronto) which meant the bet was graded as a loss.

@bbc.reporter - I've spoken to our teams and unfortunately we won't be able to lower the min stakes on GoT lines due to them being high risk outright markets.

Thanks, and have a great day!

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Thanks! But I think they got way enough enquiries from me during the last couple of weeks and I did not get any response. Like in the case of ftp_1988 why don't you go ahead and escalate my case right away?? I am waiting for more than 1 MONTH (!!!!) now for that freaking verification to be completed.

@ftp_1988 - I've sent a PM asking for details so I can investigate for you, apologies again for the delay.

SyGambler and rommel_BCA I've also sent reponses to your queries via PM.

@whatarush2791 - Thanks for bringing that thread to our attention, the issue has now been resolved.

Thanks, and have a good day all!

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

That's all nice, but when will you provide an update on my case? A week has already passed since you promised me to find out what's going on, and nothing happened...

I will try getting touch with Cloudbet on this channel as well, because their support team apparently has no intention to help me. Or better said they keep telling me the same for a month now. Making the long story short, I deposited on my account, managed to increase my balance with some winning bets, then from one day to another I was not able to login. I did not even requested a withdrawal... Right after, got an email to prove my identity with some documents, and as requested I've sent everything they asked me for. I asked for an update 10 days later, but nothing. I am not a newbie bettor, I have fiat accounts with the largest online bookmakers where an ID verification takes maximum 48 hours. What are you doing with my documents, analyzing them pixel by pixel, one pixel every day?! How long should I wait to get back the access to my account?

Your site is pretty good with large selection, decent odds, the wagers are graded quickly, I thought I've found a new favorite for myself, but this bad experience raised questions...
How long you were using the site because I am also a long time member but not placing a bet for sometime and do not want to end up in a similar situation, I am not sure whether I have verified any documentation with them and I really do not want to end up in a situation where I have to prove them I really made the account which is crazy. Hopefully you will update everything till the end as I would like to know how long they will take to sort this one.

To be honest, I don't know when exactly I opened my account on Cloudbet. What I know is that I did not start playing on their website right away, but this year it become one of my primary bookies until my account was "suspended". From my personal experience I would rather advise you to stay away because now I see that it's not only me having issues with them. I went through on countless KYC processes, and by far this is my worst experience so far. Come on... other bookies asked me for additional stuff if something was missing/wrong, Cloudbet just delays and delays without any useful response, if any... Ronnie contacted me in PM and promised me to ask for an update from the respective team. I did not hear from him since then... so what should I say?! In the meantime I already raised a complaint with their license provider and will more than probably get in touch with a lawyer with gabling expertise if things don't change.
