Thanks for your message — we completely agree that raising awareness is crucial. We’ve already done a lot of work compiling information, publishing articles, and sharing evidence about FreeWallet’s practices. At the same time, we strongly recommend filing official reports. These carry much more weight when trying to get platforms investigated or taken down. If you need help with the process, feel free to reach out to us at freewallet-report@tutanota.com — we can guide you on how to file effective complaints.

Has your issue been resolved? Freewallet is continuing their scamming activities with you and harassing you in various ways but not resolving the original complaint? Freewallet is a famous scammer who has scammed a lot of crypto users under the name of wallet. They will harass you so that you forget about your money and these scammers can take ownership of your funds. So I would tell you not to give up, promote them on different platforms so that more crypto users will be wary of these fake wallet traps.

No,not yet, and it seems that it is far from being resolved as well, although there is no real reason preventing them from doing so.

and yes I will never give up my right to my money and I will keep my efforts to expose them, thanks for your consideration.

It's sad that this wallet is going through such a brutal time. I'm very saddened to see the number of victims so high.

The number of their victims so high and it's increasing everyday because they look legit and there are other companies still dealing with them and enabling and facilitating their fraudulent activity.

Namecheap, Domain Registrar
Cloudflare, DNS Service
Freshworks, Customer Support System Provider
Simplex, Payment Provider

I reported Freewallet to all companies above, some responded and some distancing themselves from Freewallet’s actions.

After a long wait, I received a reply from them. But in their reply, they have written such terms that it seems like they are not in the crypto world to do business, they consider themselves a bank! They claim to be working on issues like money laundering, illegal financial transactions, etc ! Basically, they are using these tags to freeze crypto users' funds.

The funny thing is they are mocking the crypto apps that are using their methods!

Good to know that, mate.
I hope your case gets solved like some of those cases. Just be patient and continue to fight. But make sure you do not use bad words, call them scammers. Just make them believe that you don't think they are scammers, but you are seeing them as a legitimate business. As other members already said, calling them scammers in a public place won't help your case. They may ignore you if you start insulting them.

If you can get your funds back, don't forget about these scammers. Never use their service again. If you know anyone using their service, just tell them to stop using it. Good luck, mate.

From the beginning, I complied well with their demands and used formal, respectful language, as I believed they were just doing their job, but after months of exhausting process and ignoring my KYC completion, I just got tired of their unbearable behavior, but I still didn't insult them or use bad language.

But frankly, I don't think that matters to them. You should see their Telegram support chat. It is like a torture room for their customers. Some of their victims are literally begging them to release their money because they needed to save the lives of patients, and others threatened to hurt themselves if they did not get their money back, and Freewallet does not care at all.

If this is true, then it doesn't hurt to give yourself a tiny hope through it. I am just curious, on what platform did you contact this person, reddit? And how was he able to provide proof that his money was returned to him by this selective scammers.

That said, how is it possible that Freewallet still survives up until today, TBH, i expected the platform to be dead by now, because everyone should already know that they are scammers, and thus the platform would just die a natural death.

That's right, I contacted him on Reddit, he send the verification completion letter he got from Freewallet and the withdrawls screenshots from the app, he had nearly 12 ETH so that give me a great hope that I could restore my money too

Some of these cases might just be them trying to save their nonexistent reputation [I prefer not to trust if I can't confirm every single detail], but don't lose hope [I hope you regain access to your account soon]... If you know someone with a huge following, that might also work since they restored Elon's account within minutes/hours of him tweeting about it [source].

Yeah you're right, I'm also not sure of all of them, but at least I'm sure of one, because I contacted him and he provided me with proof that he had actually restored his funds, but he said that the reason they gave his money back was because his case was so clear, and he made a big fuss about it, and that he was basicly lucky that this happened to him and he withdrew his money and left Freewallet for good.

There's clearly a pattern: As soon as a significant amount is detected, their automated system flags it... Then they drag these cases for a long time until users give up recovering them [previously mentioned by @ScamViruS].

100%, and that's why many people still use it and don't know a thing about the truth (like I was) until the moment comes when they deposit a large amount, and they become victims like me.

Their support service is so bad that I haven't received a reply yet. If a customer has to wait a week for a reply, then their reputation and their intentions are clear again. In fact, whoever puts money in this wallet will have their money blocked and will be ignored with this kind of bad support. We have been speaking out against this scam wallet for a long time, they are still getting victims to scam. The large amount of funds you have kept in this wallet is your extra courage.

I reported them to Freshworks, because Freewallet is using their service "Freshdesk" in their customer support, and Freshworks responds to my complain and open an internal investigation, I'm still waiting for their reply

You're correct, I've read hundreds of complaints and cases, few of them could actually restored their funds but a fewer announced this, I intend to keep my case updated to all future users and victims

Are you sure that some of them were able to get their funds back? I don't remember seeing a single resolved case yet. Would you mind sharing some links to those cases where the users were able to get their funds back? If this is true, I would highly recommend that you not give up and try your best. The amount is not small at all. Also, as I said, I would expect you to come back here and update us about your case so it can help other victims to know what they should do to get their funds back.

Not sure of all of them, but at least I'm sure one of them is, because I contacted him and he provided me with proof that he had actually restored his funds, but he said that they gave his money back, mostly because his case was clear, and he made a big fuss about it, and that he was basicly lucky that this happened to him

And you can be assure that I will keep all of you updated until I get my money back, because, as you said, it's not small at all, and I will never let them steal it.

Thanks for concerning, they kept me for 11 days since my last email reply saying that "your case is still under review".

Any help you offer is appreciated, especially from the ones who have experience with them.
I contacted their support about your issue, it's been almost 24 hours. But I still haven't received any reply from them. And this shows why they are still running this wallet, and what is their means of profit. This is a proven scam wallet, their wallet freezes the funds of the crypto users who use it under various pretexts, at some point those users give up on trying to recover the funds. It is sad that crypto users are still falling victim to this scam and losing their money.

I'm so thankful for your efforts and concerning,
and yes, their support team job is to torture their customers not to solve their issues, any simple reply could take a week, and they are deliberately do so.

why do you choose to use that particular wallet for storing your USDT? Online wallets are not safe!

I used it regularly in small amounts with no problem, so it was the first wallet which came to my mind when I wanted to deposit, and that was a mistake I regret it badly.  Cry

There was a while where their representative on the forum would occasionally assist in the processing of similarly stuck withdrawals - so long as a big enough reputational fuss was made about the situation - but they were booed away years ago and now no longer respond here at all.

This is, after all, the same wallet that wouldn't let Elon Musk withdrawal his own funds until they knew it was Elon.  Cheesy

You can try tagging them on Twitter or replying to a tweet like this one:

https://x.com/freewalletorg/status/1776254867259978235

Notice how most of the replies are from victims. But freewallet is replying, even if its just lip service.

Worth trying. Just calmly explain your situation and ask them to look into it.

Edit: I just saw your Twitter thread... They may be scammers (most likely are) but I think calling them scammers in public won't help your situation. In any case, sorry for your loss.

Pretty poetic negative trust I left them 4 years ago...

nutildah    2021-04-27    Reference    a wallet that withholds the withdraw of its users funds over KYC issues is not a wallet, its a scam (Delete)

amazing that they are still in operation.

Thanks for your reply. In fact, I tried every way possible with them before posting on social media, and I was compling to their demands and patient for months because I thought they were honest, and their procedures were legit, until I found out that they were delaying me on purpose, and they were just procrastinating to return my funds, so this was the only choice they left me to.

and yes, I am also amazed that they are still in operation and no one seems to be cared

It is unfortunate that you used a wallet that has had a lot of complaints about it. It is not new that they scam their customers' funds under various pretexts. Now if you contact them they will give you new excuses every day instead of providing any kind of solution. Do they now give you any reply or let you know if there is any progress on your complaint?

I can email them and see if they reply. I don't really expect much from them. But in the end, everyone has to keep trying.

Thanks for concerning, they kept me for 11 days since my last email reply saying that "your case is still under review".

and I did contact a legal firm to prepare a lawsuit and file complaints about it to many law enforcement.

If I am not wrong, I have seen dozens of scam accusations against the,m and all of them are basically similar. The users used their service before to transfer a small amount of crypto. As soon as they receive some big amount of funds, Freewallet freezes their account and ask for KYC and etc, etc. A lot of people even filed lawsuits against the,m and none of them came with an update.

So, I think either they did not received their funds, or they do not have any good news for the community so they didn't came back to inform us. If you file a lawsuit against them, make sure to update us here. We want to know the update of your case so it can help others as well.

I appreciate any advice from members or anyone with experience or useful information to help me get my money back.

Like Yobit, this is a scam wallet that refuses to die. We have numerous topics about Freewallet scamming their users; some go so far as to report this to the authorities, yet another topic arises.

I hate to say this, but you have zero chance of getting it. All I can say is to gather all your hard evidence, contact those who have been scammed, form a group to strengthen your case, present your case, and bring it to the attention of higher authorities.

I'll take my chances and I will never surrender and accept that they will get away with this, and I will take your advice of course.

by the way, 1win has a direct relation to my case so I'm wondering, are you working with them?

I quickly went over your X thread and it didn't seem they've moved your funds, but at some point, they have to do it and that's when the following platforms might come in handy with tracking and intercepting their activities [it's a long shot, but it's better than nothing]:
Note: Some of them also collaborate with law enforcement agencies.

Concerning this "X post" of yours, it's worth noting that a lot of us have already tried reporting them to their registrar, but most of their staff are incompetent [they've ignored almost all of my reports in the past few years about similar cases (unfortunately)].

very appreciate your help mate
